Hi
I am arriving to NWR from Copenhagen with SAS at 12:55 and then fly to Seattle with United at 16:10- do I have sufficient time to make the connection?
Thanks
Yes, that should be enough time.
I'm a us citizen with passport coming back from scotland with a flight to Canada connecting at ewr. I fly in on terminal b and fly out terminal a. With 1hr 30min layover. What do I do when I land in ewr, immigration, ? Customs, ? Collect baggage and recheck. All booked on air Canada flight
Yes, in Newark you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to A, go through security and to your departure gate. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
I am flying LAX to EWR then to London. We have only 2 hours layover before boarding flight from EWR to London, is this enough time? All flights are booked together thru United. Will we be arriving and departing from same terminal and if not, how long does it take to get to different terminal, and will we need to go thru security again?
All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal C. You have plenty of time.
I am arriving on a United flight at Terminal A. I have one hour layover for another United flight to another US state. I understand it is best to use the shuttle which keeps me within "security". Three questions: #1. How much time does it take to get from Terminal A to Termincal C? #2. Which gate in Terminal A do I find the shuttle? #3. I go through customs in Canada (departing from Canada) and I understand I do not go through custom again - can someone confirm this.
The shuttle takes about 15 minutes. It's hard to miss from inside the United Express concourse in A. Yes, you are correct about customs.
I want to fly DAY-YUL which has a 1.5 hour stop over in EWR. Will I have to go through passport screening or customs in EWR, and if so will the 1.5h stop over be enough? Thanks :)
Both flights are on United and both bought on the same ticket by the way
Domestic flight into Terminal C...and then international flight out of Terminal B. How do I go from Terminal C to Terminal B and will I need to go through security again?
What airline are you flying out of Terminal B?
TAP Portugal
Then you can take a shuttle bus from near gate C71 to your departure concourse inside security.
I am travelling from Glasgow to Newark and then on to Orlando. We only have 2 hours between flights and concerned about time. Is this enough time to get though Immigration, collect bags, re-check bag, security etc..
Thank you.
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
What is the procedure should we miss our connection. Flights have been booked together with united. Thanks.
Go to a customer service kiosk or desk and you will be rebooked on the next available flight to Orlando on United.
Hi flying united airlines from Glasgow to Newark then a connecting flight to Orlando. Will my luggage go straight through onto connecting flight to Orlando or do I have to claim it and go through customs Thanks
Yes, in Newark you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to Terminal C, go through security and to your departure gate.
Thanks zap
If I drop off my rental car at terminal b is there a way to get to terminal c to check in
Yes, you can take the AirTrain to C.
Arriving at terminal C leaving from terminal A is it necessary to go through security again or is there a behind security shuttle?
If your flight into C is domestic and your flight out is on United Express, then you can take the shuttle inside security.
Flight out is Air Canada in terminal A
Then you have to take the AirTrain to A and go through security there.
