Hi,I have a flight from MSP -> EWR and a connecting flight from EWR -> BOM. My flight from MSP -> EWR got delayed and now the transit time left is around 40 mins. Flight is landing at Ter C at EWR and next flight is also from Ter C. Is there any security check required? Is there any chance of mine getting the EWR-> BOM flight? Thanks

There is no security check required. You can make it if you get the 40 minutes.

Yes, that should be enough time.

I flew via Air India from Mumbai to EWR on 11/30/16. After custom Clearance 2 bags were checked in at the Recheck desk for onward transfer to Fort Lauderdale via JetBlue flight departing for FLL at 9:29 AM. One out of 2 bags was received at FLL and other one is missing. It has Tag To FLL B6006 Via EWR AI 191 on it. Please contact me. Thank you Ritu Singhal 954-608-1700 alternate number 954-993-5757

Nobody from the Newark Airport, JetBlue or Air India will ever see this message. Contact JetBlue.

  • transferring from terminal B to Terminal A

I have a consultant flying into Terminal B, Newark on Porter at 5:35, and then flying out from Terminal A at 7:45 pm on Jet Blue Will 2 hours 10 minutes be enough time?

With checked bags it will be very difficult. Without checked bags it's possible if he checks in online for his second flight before leaving Toronto.

Should not be a problem. There is a unirail that shuttles between terminals every few minutes

The issue is if he has checked bags - clearing US Immigration, Claiming his bags, going through US Customs, then taking the bags to Terminal A and re-checking them with JetBlue before the bag check cutoff.

I am flying from Bombay to Newark ,which is arriving at terminal C. I have my connecting flight at terminal C from Newark to Tampa. Can I get my checked in luggage directly at my final destination at Tampa. I have my 2 years daughter with me ,if required can I get assistance

No, in Newark you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.

Hello, My Air Canada flight is landing at Newark terminal A and the next United Airlines is from terminal C. I have 2 hours 20 minutes. Will it be enough? Also how much time is the transit from terminal A to C using Air Train?

Yes, that should be enough time. Taking the AirTrain should take 10-15 minutes and then you will have to go through security again in C.

I've booked a flight on American into Newark and a flight internationally out of Newark on United. Is 1 hr 50 min enough time or do I need an earlier flight in?

If you have checked bags you DEFINITELY need an earlier flight. Even without checked bags I would be uncomfortable with this connection.

Arrival at terminal c by united and travel from terminal B through SAS to oslo Time gap is 2hr 30min is it enough to transit

    Arriving from Houston

Yes, that is enough time. United runs a shuttle bus inside security from Terminal C where you arrive to to the satellite of Terminal B where the SAS gate is.

Hi, can you reconfirm? I thought the bus is only from C-A and vice versa and that for B-C/C-B one has to take the train then go through security?

United also has a bus to B. It's clearly shown on their map - https://www.united.com/web/en-US/content/travel/airport/maps/ewr.aspx

Hi I have a trip going down from Vancouver(YVR) to Orlando(MCO). I'm connecting at Newark(EWR). Im flying Air Canada from YVR - EWR and United Airlines from EWR - MCO. My connection time is 2hrs and 30min. Is that enough time to connect and what will I have to do once I arrive?

Yes, that is enough time. You just take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Vancouver.

What do I do once I arrive in Newark to get to my next flight and is it in the same terminal?

That depends what airline you are flying, where you are coming from, and where you are flying to.

I will take a flight (United Airline) from Toronto (YYZ) to Newark (EWR) and there is layover time of 2 hr 41min for the transfer flight (United Airline) to Tokyo (NRT). I would like to check if 2 hr 41 min would be enough. Thanks!

Yes, that is plenty of time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Newark is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you arrive in Terminal A, United runs a shuttle bus inside security to Terminal C where you will depart.

Thanks for your reply! I just check my flight from Toronto to Newark. It is United Airline operated by Air Canada. The flight from Newark to Tokyo is All Nippon Airways operated by United Airline. Will that make a dlfference?

Yes, that means you will arrive in Terminal A at a flight that isn't connected by a shuttle bus, so you will have to take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. You still have enough time.

So does that mean I'll have to claim my baggages and re-checks them? Or I only have to go though security again?

You won't have to do anything with your bags, just go through security again.

  • change of flights from domestic to international on same terminal

Hi I am flying to Delhi through EWR from Kansas City, MCI with Indian passport. I have the reservation on the same ticket and flight with United Airline. Do I have to claim my check-in baggage and clear security again?

Yes, in Newark you will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, possibly take the airtrain to your departure terminal, then go through security.

even if the same flight and terminal? Because I contacted to United airline and according to representative the traveler need not to collect the baggage.

Singh is leaving the US. At EWR, you will just hang out and board your connecting flight. As you board the flight to DEL, UA boarding staff will confirm valid passport. If you are returning from Delhi via EWR, ZAPs comments are relevant.

As such - from MCI to EWR to DEL, once you check your bag - you won't see it till DEL unless it's hand / carry-on luggage.

Correct. I also think that at EWR, only I have to go to the next flight departure gate without any security check.

Sorry, I misread your post. I thought you were coming From Delhi to Kansas city. On your way to Delhi you don't have to do anything with your bags in Newark - just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
