Hello, I am travelling to PVD to EWR (Arriving Terminal A) and then from Newark (Departure Terminal C) to New Delhi both on United Airlines and on same Itinerary. Do i will need to go through the Security again, can i take shuttle bus? Will i need to claim my bag at EWR and then recheck it in? Thanks for your help in advance!

You can take the shuttle bus that runs inside security. You do not have to go through security or do anything with your bags on your way to Delhi.

Thank you so much for your quick response, really appreciated!

Hi! I am not U.S. citizen holding C1 transit visa. Travelling from Beijing to Colombia with a layover in Newark airport. Arriving to terminal B, next flight is departing from terminal C. Do I need to go through the US immigration when changing the terminal?

Yes, when you arrive you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs then recheck your bags at the recheck desk then take the airtrain to terminal C if you did not arrive there, then go through security and to your departure gate.

I believe my luggage should go directly. Do I still need to go thru immigration customs that way? I have transit visa C1 only for one entry. If I go thru customs on the way to Colombia, will it be stamped and will I have issues on the return flight, as I have to go thru US again?

Your luggage will not go directly and you will go through all the steps I just outlined. If your C1 visa is only for one entry you will have to get another one when you are in Colombia if you want to return through the US.

Am arriving from Zurich at terminal B at 8:25 pm and fly to Ottawa from terminal A at 9:59pm. Can I make it?

That should be possible if both tickets are on the same reservation. You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to Terminal A and go through security.

Yes, both tickets are on the same reservation. Thanks!

Hello, I am catching a UA flight from San José to Newark arriving at 20:35 in terminal B. Then I am to catch the 22:25 UA flight from terminal C going to London. I only have a carry on bag, no checked luggage. Will I be able to take a shuttle bus airside between the terminals or will I have to go through security? If going through security will I have enough time? Thanks for your help.

You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security. You will likely both arrive and depart in Terminal C but if you arrive in Terminal B you will take the AirTrain to Terminal C after re-checking your bags.

Flying United in BusinessFirst on both sectors (LIM-EWR-SFO), but I am unsure about the 1hr30 min connection being offered. All pax are US Citizens, but we will have checked bags. Would global entry make a difference - given the waiting to recheck bags? Thanks.

90 minutes should work with Global Entry and Business Class.

I am flying from Houston to Delhi on single booking and have a layover at Newark for 2 hrs. Am traveling in united airlines from Houston to Newark and then Jet Airways to Delhi. Do I have to go through security again in Newark or just go to the terminal b to catch by flight. Also suggest how to go from Terminal C to Terminal B of newark air port T

You don't have to ask the same question twice. You go between terminals using the AirTrain.

I am flying from houston to delhi and have a layover at Newark for 2 hrs. Am traveling in united airlines from houston to Newark and then jet airways to Delhi.. Do I have to go through security again in Newark or just go to the terminal b to catch by flight T

Yes, you will have to go through security in Newark. If you are on two separate reservations you will also have to claim your bags from United, take them on the airtrain, and re-check them with Jet Airways and get your Jet Airways boarding pass.

I am flying from raleigh to mumbai and have a layover at Newark for 2 hrs. Am traveling in united airlines from Raleigh to Newark and then air India to Mumbai. Do I have to go through security again in Newark or just go to the terminal b to catch by flight

I believe Air India operates from a different satellite of B that the United shuttle runs to, so you will have to go through security in Newark.

I arrive into terminal A from San Francisco and have 1 our 25 minutes to get to flight to Lisbon in terminal B. Is that enough time?

What airlines are you flying? do you have any checked bags? Are your tickets on the same reservation?

We transit in EWR for flying from Frankfurt to San Jose (Costa Rica) and have 1h 45 to catch our connecting flight. We arrive in terminal B and have the connecting flight at terminal C. Do we have to go through US immigration, or can we go with the inside security shuttle. Will we have enough time to get the connecting flight.

Yes you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check your bags at the recheck desk then take the airtrain to terminal C, go through security and to your departure gate. You barely have enough time if everything goes perfectly.

Hi, I am going to travel from Columbus(CMH) to Chennai(MAA) Via Newark(EWR). My Layover time in EWR is 1.33 mins. is it enough time? i need to catch connecting flight from Terminal C to Terminal B. Again i have to do security check? Also which one i should take Air train or Shuttle bus? if shuttle bus then how can i take it after land from flight in Newark immediately. Kindly advice soon

More Details: I am traveling and operated by Lufthansa from CMH->EWR-MAA Terminal C to Terminal B in EWR. Kindly Advice

The shuttle bus runs inside security so I recommend it. It leaves from the low numbered end of Terminal C. Note that you may also arrive in Terminal A, there is also a shuttle from A to B.

Thanks for your reply, Kindly let me know is there security check again? 1.33mins enough time to reach my departure gate?

If you take the shuttle you shouldn't have to go through security.

Hi, I am traveling from Dayton to Newark and then to Lisbon. My connection time from Newark to Lisbon will be 1 hour, 11 minutes. Is this enough time? I have to get from terminal A to terminal B.

Yes, that should be enough time if your flight from Daytons is on-time. There is a shuttle bus inside security from the United Express gates in Terminal A to where you will depart in Terminal B.

hello. travelling ORD to EWR to GLA with a 45 minute layover. is this enough to get to my EWR flight to GLA?

All you have to do in Newark is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both in Terminal C. It's possible, but leaves no time to spare if there are any delays.
