Hi, we plan to take AC2481 from United Kingdom to EWR on Feb. 26 2017, the flight will arrive in EWR at 12:00pm, then we need to connect AC7655 which departure at 14:10 to Toronto. Will 2 Hours and 10 minutes will be enough for us? do we need to re-checked luggage? Thanks
Yes, that is just enough time. The First flight is operated by United. it will arrive in B, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to A and go through security.
I usually fly United but have a Jet Blue flight out of terminal A. My son is going out of terminal C at about the same time. The United Club in terminal A is closed, so I thought we would go to a club in C. I have to make my way back to terminal A. Questions..... Will I have a problem getting through security in terminal C with a Jet Blue ticket? How do I best transfer back to terminal A to catch my flight?
Yes, you will not be allowed through security in C with a Jetblue ticket.
I contacted TSA, they advise that if I have a same day ticket on any airline out of Newark I can go through security at terminal C. I can then transfer back to terminal A, inside of security, by taking a bus by gate 71. I assume the bus tubs on the tarmac. That returns me to terminal A with no need to clear security again.
Runs on the tarmac, not tubs.
hi, i want to book a flight from Dublin via newark to orlando. the connection time is only 1 hour and 35 minutes. We will have pre-clearance in Dublin. is this enough time to get the flight connection. Both flights are with United.
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
...departure terminal B WOW air to Iceland. How can I make connections as fast as I can, don't know airport. Please help!
With checked bags that's very difficult.
Hello! My Air Canada flight from Montreal will land at terminal A,and the next Tap Portugal to Lisbon will Departure from terminal B.I have 3 hours. Will it be enought?Do I need to claim my bags,to go to US customs ,recheck bags and change to terminal B?
Yes, that is enough time. You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Montreal. If everything is on the same reservation all you have to do in Newark is take the AirTrain to Terminal B and go through security.
I have 2 reservations. One with Air Canada and another One with Tap Portugal
Then you still have enough time.
I am flying from Berlin to Bogota Via NWR , flight is booked under one ticket ,i have no baggage , do i need to make immigration ? I have a 2.5 hr layover , is this enough ? Should i do an ESTA for this trip even if I am in transit ? I hold a Chilean Passport , no visa but ESTA is required to enter US but i will only be in transit there.
Yes, you have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security. You need ESTA.
Also, you should have enough time.
Scheduled arrival on TAP from Lisbon at 3:50pm. Delta to RDU at 5:45pm. We have Global Entry and carry-on bags. Can we make this connection? What's the minimum needed? Thanks!!
With Global Entry and carry-ons only I think you can make this if your check in online for your Delta flight before leaving Lisbon.
Arriving in Terminal A from Canada, departing terminal C to Brazil.
Will I have to pick up my bags and re check? How long should I expect to take to connect gate to gate? Thanks so much
If both flights are on the same reservation you won't have to pick up your bags as you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Canada. You just have to take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. If you have a little over an hour you should be OK.
I have a domestic flight landing in B and I have 1h 16mins to make my international connection in C. Both flights are with United and on the same itinerary. Is there transport between that avoids me having to go through security again or is 1h 16mins enough? I also have a back injury and I'm really going to struggle to rush as it is.
Very few United domestic flights arrive in B. If you are one of those few flights, then, yes, you can take a shuttle to C inside security. If you feel it will help, you can call United to request wheelchair service.
I'm arriving from Boston on United in terminal C and have 1hr 15min before my flight to europe departs from terminal B. Have never been through EWR before, is this enough time to transfer?

More info:
This is in the afternoon on a thursday, arriving 4:12pm and departing 5:30pm.
What airline are you flying to Europe? Are both flights on the same reservation?
Yes, both are on the same reservation.
Boston > Newark is United Airlines
Newark > Copenhagen is Scandinavian Airlines
Then you can take a shuttle that runs inside security from Near gate C71 to your departure concourse in Concourse B. You have enough time if your flight from Boston is on-time.
