I got cheap flights from EWR to Island and now have to book my flight to Dallas.
I'm coming in from Keflavik (KEF) with WOW at 5:30pm (Terminal B), and there is one later flight to DFW with United at 8:59pm. (Terminal C), so I have to go through immigration and then go to the check-in counters from United and check-in my bags again.
I'm traveling with two older children, so I usually can't do any drop-off or curbside check-ins, we have to go to the counter. We are US citizens though. Do I have a reasonable chance to get the 8:59pm flight?
That should be enough time if the WOW flight is on-time.
Hi, in July I am flying from Zurich (ZRH) to Los Angeles (LAX) via New York (EWR) with United.
At EWR I got a layover of 1.55h - will that be enough to catch my domestic connection flight and will it be possible to check-through my luggage?

Thanks for your help in advance!
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly. You will have to claim your bags in Newark to take them through US Customs.
I will be coming from united airlines from iad airport to ewr, and then catch an international united flight. Is 2 hour layover time sufficient? I guess i had to change terminal b to c. Do i had clear security again? Do i need to claim baggage again?
You will not likely arrive in Terminal B. You will likely arrive in Terminal A or C. United runs shuttle buses within security between all their gates if you need to change terminals. You don't have to do anything with your bags when leaving the US through EWR. You have plenty of time.
Flying from Montreal YUL - EWR -to LAX in Sept. Reservation says terminal change is required. I cannot climb stairs or walk long distances so I will need wheelchair assistance to get between terminals Have read horrors about UA stranding passengers with disabilities. How does UA get passengers to their connecting flight between terminals.
They use wheelchairs on the shuttle buses.
United will do all possible to help all connecting customers especially does with desabilities. Airlines hired a third party to assist with wheel chair services. They are the ones that sometimes don't have enough chairs to help all the airlines
I'm flying port of Spain POS TO peurto plata POP on the 2nd of July, I have a layover of 1hr 24 minutes. Would this be plenty of time to get to my gate? Would I need to reclaim my luggage, re-check in etc. Any help would be appreciated!!
I'm flying United
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, and go through security. I don't think you will have enough time.
Even with arrival and departure both in terminal c?
Hi, I am flying in from Indianpolis (UA3163) to Hong Kong (CX889) via EWR, with no checked baggage. Between the flights, I have 4.15 hours layover but have to go from terminal C to B.
1. Do I have enough time?
2. What is the process?
3. Can I use the UA shuttle bus inside security between terminals?
You have to exit security and take the AirTrain. The shuttle bus does not go to the correct pier of Terminal B for your Cathay flight.
I did see your helpful comment about going from TA to TB. My daughter will be checking a bag from LAX on Virgin America to TA, then connect to SAS in TB. Sounds like she will have to retrieve her bags from Virgin America in TA, then take the AirTrain to TB, check-in / check bag w/ SAS, then go through security again, is that correct? Thank you!
Yes, that is correct.
I am flying from Hartford to LAX w/a connecting flight in EWR. I have 1h 1m to get on my flight to LAX from that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am flying from Edinburgh in the 27th July arriving at 1200 in terminal B. I have a connecting flight to Lima at 1415 from terminal C. Is it correct I need to collect my baggage, go through customs, then go through security again once I reach terminal C. Is 2.15 hours enough time to do this? Many thanks
I am flying with united airlines for the whole trip
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check them at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
