  • passport clearance and connecting time

I am flying geneva - st. louis via brussels and EWR. Flying United 961 to terminal B and then UA 4628 to STL. Ticket does'nt state which terminal UA 4628 flies out of. Will i need to clear passport control and go through security again? Connecting time is 1 hr 26 mins.

Was just checking. Apparently UA 961 arrives at terminal C and not B. Thanks

At EWR, you will arrive at, and depart from, Terminal C. Only arriving passengers at the U.S. need to go through passport control & customs clearance. Note that TC has 3 gateways: The Concourse level has three gateways leading to (a) gate area C1 is arranged in a Y-shape, with gates C70 to C99; (b) Gateway C2 has gates C101 to C115; and (c) Gate area C3 has gates C120 to C139. On arrival at EWR look at the overhead screens to find your connecting gate.

  • B Bagage to A baggage

How does one get from TB baggage to TA baggage? How long will this take? Is it possible to walk?

I presume you arrive from an international flight, and your airline will transfer your bags to Terminal A (make sure, if not, you need to take the bag along to Terminal A and check it in there). On arrival, you would have to go through passport control, pick up bag, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag at the designated area. That can take 35-50 mins. Thereafter you would need to take the Airtrain (follow signs), which serves all terminals in their secured areas and takes only 2 mins.

I am flying from Newark to Toronto by United (United Express). Which terminal should I go to at EWR airport for departure.

United Express serves both in Terminals A & C; Your ticket should indicate the terminal with either gate area or gate number. At Terminal 1 it serves Gate Area 1 with gates A10-18; Terminal C Gate Area C1 has gates C70-71; C2 has gates C101-102; & C3 gates 120-139.

What is the best pickup area for Terminal A, American Airlines, arriving flight without parking?

At EWR, pickup is only allowed for passengers already waiting at the curb - no waiting allowed. However, you can use the Dropping off/ picking up a Passenger at the Airport: It is recommended to park your car in either a short-term lot or the parking garage (terminal frontages are for loading & unloading only and unattended cars willl towed.

what guidance, esort, or chaufferring is available for 16 yr old traveling without adult on domestic direct flights?

to clarify, from securtiy checkpoint to gate within terminal

EWR has three passenger terminals, all connected by the free Airtrain, which serves the secured areas. If your 16-year old has a ticket, it will indicate the Terminal and gate number: TC is for United Airlines only (which also uses some gates for domestic flights in TA. TB is used for all international arrivals other than United's. If she is transferring to another terminal, she needs to take the train - following signs. A 16-year old does not need escort. Signs will guide her to her/his gates.
