I did see your helpful comment about going from TA to TB. My daughter will be checking a bag from LAX on Virgin America to TA, then connect to SAS in TB. Sounds like she will have to retrieve her bags from Virgin America in TA, then take the AirTrain to TB, check-in / check bag w/ SAS, then go through security again, is that correct? Thank you!
Yes, that is correct.
I am flying from Hartford to LAX w/a connecting flight in EWR. I have 1h 1m to get on my flight to LAX from that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am flying from Edinburgh in the 27th July arriving at 1200 in terminal B. I have a connecting flight to Lima at 1415 from terminal C. Is it correct I need to collect my baggage, go through customs, then go through security again once I reach terminal C. Is 2.15 hours enough time to do this? Many thanks
I am flying with united airlines for the whole trip
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US customs, re-check them at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I am flying in from RDU and landing at terminal C87 and have 1 hour and 40 min layover to get to my next gate which is at B40 to SEA . Will i have enough time and will i have to go through security again?
I am flying on united airlines
Also how can i get to my next gate from terminal C?
United runs shuttle buses inside security between all of their gates. The shuttles leave terminal C near gate C71, You have enough time.
Will I have to check in or go through security again?
You should be checked in for all flights at your origin and will not have to go through security again if you take the shuttle. Also, you won't know your exact gates until the day of your flight.
Hi, we will be travelling from TXL to FLL connecting at EWR. We will have EWR connection time of 2:25. All flights operated by United. Is that time enough to go through US immigration, collect our bags, go through US customs, re-check the bags and finally reach the proper gate? We are not US citizens so we will have to stay in the "Visitors" line to immigration. Thank you in advance.
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Thank you.
United change my flight connection time. I will arrive from Edinburgh and have one and a half hours to make my connection. I have Global Entry. Is this enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be flying:

RDU-EWR (United Airlines)

EWR-YYZ (Air Canada)

and then later on taking the following:

YYZ-EWR (Air Canada)

EWR-RDU (United Airlines)

Is there enough time to make these connections? Will I have to go through security again? I don't plan on checking bags and will most likely have TSA Precheck and Global Entry.

If the Toronto flights are actually operated by Air Canada, you will have to go through security both ways as Air Canada's concourse is not connected inside security to any United gate areas. However, all your connection times are sufficient. On the way back from Toronto you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto.
We are arriving from MInneapolis on United and have a 1 hour layover at Newark before boarding for Halifax also on United. Will we have to go through customs before boarding? If so will there be enough time?
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you have to go from Terminal C to A, United runs a shuttle bus between them inside security.
Arriving from Bermuda and going straight to Oslo on SAS.
Do I have to go through immigration?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Bermuda. You just have to take the shuttle bus from Terminal C to Terminal B in EWR.
