Hallo! Flying with United from Chicago to Newark and arrive at 15:50. Connection flight departures at 17:30 from terminal C with SAS. All in all I will have a layover of 1h and 40 min. Will this be enough time ? ?
That should be just enough time. United has a shuttle bus inside security to the pier of Terminal B that SAS uses.
Hi. In a few weeks I am travelling to Orlando from Dublin via Newark. I presume that when I do pre clearance in Dublin & check my bags in that I do not have to recheck bags in Newark? I am flying United to Orlando from Terminal C as far as I know. Also when travelling internally between terminals, is there anywhere to go for a smoke? I do not want to have to go through security. Thanks
There is nowhere to smoke inside security. Correct, you do not have to claim your bags in Newark since you will have pre-cleared in Dublin.
arrive terminal c newark 2 hour stopover leave from terminal b to dublin. do bags go automksatic to next flight? also how to reach terminal b? and is this enough time? than
Yes, your bags will be transferred if everything is on the same reservation? Are you flying Aer Lingus to Dublin? If so you have to take the AirTrain to Terminal B and go through security again there. You should have enough time.
Yes same reservation and yes air lingus to Dublin. Thanks for your speedy response youv put my mind at ease.
Arriving from U.K. United terminal b I have 2 hours to clear custom and get to terminal c is there a transfer belt for luggage or will I have to take it with me also how easy is the distance from b to c
You can re-check your bags at the re-check desk after clearing customs in Terminal B. You will then take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. You have just enough time if everything goes perfectly.
Hi. I am travelling from Europe to LAX on Saturday with a layover in EWR. Between both flights I only have 1h30 and have to go from terminal B to terminal C. Is there a way to go between the terminals without having to pass through security check? I won't need to check in any luggage. Thank you.
You will have to go through US Immigration and customs, then take the AirTrain to C and go through security. That is a difficult connection, but maybe possible on a Saturday.
Our original booking was changed. Now we are traveling to Dublin from Atlanta, flight UA1142, landing 4:13pm, Terminal C and put on EI 100 W, Terminal B, departing at 5:00pm. Will we have to claim bags and is there time to connect? Originally we had more time. All flights were booked through Aer Lingus. .
No, you will not have to claim bags but that is still a very difficult connection since you have to change terminals.
I am flying to Newark on Lufthansa and connecting to a completely different flight then for United. There is 2 hrs between flights. I believe I may need to get checked luggage since it's not on 1 ticket.
Am I doomed?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, take your bags to your departure terminal, re-check them with United, and go through security. Even if your bags were checked through you'd still have to claim them to take the through US Customs though. It's a very difficult connection if the bags aren't checked through.
Hi I am traveling from Dallas to Hyderabad. 1st layover is in EWR. I fly on AA to EWR and then have to board British Airways. Is there airtrain from terminal A to C? Do I have to recheckin my bags? Do I have to pass security check again?
British AIrways does not use C. They use B. The AirTrain connects all terminals outside security. If everything's on the same reservation you don't have to do anything with your bags but you will have to go through security again in B.
