i am traveling to cincinnati, But i only got 1:35h from terminal B to C. So i need to know, whats the best way.May we use the Train to the gate? The location of the immigration is only in terminal C? Whats the usual time to go through there for a foreigner?
There is US Immigration and customs in Terminal B. What airline are you flying into EWR and what airline are you flying to Cincinnati? Where are you coming from?
I am flying in from Miami going to Ottawa with connection in EWR, I have a 49 minute layover...will this be enough?! What happens to my checked baggage...?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you arrive in Terminal C and depart from Terminal A, United runs a shuttle inside security. You don't have to do anything with your bags.
Our return itinerary from SNN has jus been changed, giving us only 50 min between incoming United and outgoing AC flights with wheelchair assist. Is this possible? They have not even contacted us; I just found the itin change on the booking.
We will have pre-cleared US customs overseas but need to change terminals, I believe?
That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Does the EWR terminal change take us out of the secure area? Do we claim bags? To be sure I have been as clear as I should, we will be travelling SNN - EWR - YYZ. Thank you so much.
Hello. We are travelling back to Montreal from San Juan, Puerto Rico on monday March 6th with a connection in Newark. Arriving at 5:10 Terminal B with plane leaving at 7:25, terminal A. Do we have to enough time? We will have a check bagage. Thank you.
What airlines are you flying? Are both flights on the same reservation or two separate reservations?
I am flying with Air Canada (partner with United) and second flight, air Canada Jazz. I is the same reservation.
Then you will not arrive in Terminal B. You will arrive in Terminal C, then take the AirTrain to Terminal A and go through security. You have enough time.
I have a United Award ticket for travel to DUB on Aer Lingus with United confirmation code and would like to use a United Club Lounge pass prior to the trip. I believe Aer Lingus departs from terminal B but United Lounges are in A&C. I assume I check in/bags at Aer Lingus terminal. Will I be able to get the the A or C United lounges after passing through security and return to B without difficulty? Thanks!
No, I would not advise doing that.
For what reason? Thanks.
Because getting from the Aer Lingus gates to the United Clubs in C inside security is difficult if not impossible.
Just trying to understand the issues. So there is no way to get between terminals B and C and back with out going through security checkpoints for passengers at each terminal? How about between terminals B and A? Thanks.
There is no way between B and A. There is a shuttle between one pier of B and C, but without a United boarding pass, you may not be able to use it.
We are travelling from Lisbon to Ottawa, Ontario with a connection at Newark (All United flights). We are arriving from Lisbon at terminal B at 1:40 and have to take a connecting flight to Ottawa at 3:05 in Terminal A.Is there enough time to make the connection? Thank you
I have a United flight arriving at Terminal B at 14:15 from Madrid, Spain, and a connecting flight from Terminal C to SFO at 15:50. Will I have enough time for this connection? Will I need to collect luggage for the transfer? I am travelling business class - is there fast track security for business? Many thanks,.
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. Yes, there is a Premier Access security line for First/Business class passengers in Terminal C in Newark. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
