Do I have to go outside security, if so is 2 hours enough?
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then take the AirTrain to Terminal A, go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
HI - WE ARRIVE AT TERMINAL C UNITED AIRLINES FROM TAMPA AND DEPART FROM TERMINAL B AER LINGUS TO DUBLIN ONE HOUR 35 MINS LATER . HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET FROM B TO C AND IS THERE A TRAIN OR SHUTTLE BUS? THANKS
You can take the train outside security. I believe the bus inside security goes to a different concourse of B. You should have enough time.
I am traveling from San Jose Costa Rica to Mumbai with United. My flight arrives in EWR at 18:45 Terminal C & my UA flight from EWR to Munich is at 20:20 from Terminal B. Is 1H35M layover enough for transfer ? Will I have to check in my baggage again in EWR or it will be booked through and will only have to do Customs and Immigration.
THat is barely enough time. you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. There's a good chance you will actually arrive in Terminal B.
Hi Guys .. My name is Ashwin, I am an Indian travelling with my wife and my parents to visit my sister in Indianapolis. We have Indian passports . This is the first time i am flying through Newark airport . Flying from Bangalore to Frankfurt and then Frankfurt to Newark ( Terminal B ) and my connection to Indianapolis is on Terminal C and the transit time is 2.15 hrs . Is the time enough to clear immigration , customs , recheck of bags and take the mono rail to terminal C . Please advise . Time reaching at Newark airport is 14:00 hrs . Connection flight 16:15 Hrs . Thanks Regards Ashwin
That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly. Be aware that the flight to Indianapolis may actually depart from Terminal A.
I am arriving from Dublin Ireland clearing customs and immigration in Dublin with a connection to Orlando. Arriving and departing from terminal C All our flights are with united. Two questions will 90 minutes Be enough to make our connection and will our bags be checked straight through to Orlando. Thanks in advance.
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Newark.
Do I have to pass the customs and got the baggage to get the connection to Jacksonville or the connections between Terminal B and C is direct and will pass the customs in Jacksonville? Thanks in advance
Yes, in Newark you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to your departure terminal and go through security and to your departure gate.
I'm flying from Dublin, Ireland to Vancouver via EWR, we're landing from Dublin in T-B with Aer Lingus but taking off to Vancouver from Terminal A with Air Canada. Do we need any sort of US visa to go from one terminal to the other or is there direct access for connections? Thanks
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. If you need a US visa to enter the US, you will need a US Transit visa to board your flight in Dublin. What is your citizenship?
UA CHS-EWR (Arrive TC) to AC EWR-YYZ (Depart TA) -2hr layover. Will I be able to make my connection on time? Is it possible to use bus shuttle from TC to TA, exit and later pass security to gate A11 or must I exit secure area in TC to take AirTran to TA and pass security to gate A11? Thanks.
That is just enough time. The shuttle bus to Terminal A does not go to the Air Canada satellite so you have to take the AirTrain to TA and go through security there. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We arrive on a United flight from MCO to EWR at 17:00 in Terminal C, and depart from Terminal C at 17:45 (on another United flight booked together) for the UK. I assume that as our luggage is going directly to the UK we will have passed through International security in MCO, so we'll just need to get to our Gate. Is that correct? What's the longest distance (in time) between gates? Thanks.
There is no "International Security". But yes, all you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate in Newark. The walk shouldn't be more than 10-15 minutes.
