I am flying in UA from GSP to EWR and reaching at Terminal A. Then I need to travel to BOM from Terminal C. What is the best way to reach to C from A? Is customs check needed before getting into C again?
you can take the United shuttle bus from their gates in Terminal A to their gates in Terminal C. There is no US Customs when leaving the US.
Hi there. I'm travelling from Glasgow to Orlando via Newark with United Airlines. I arrive in Newark terminal B at 1130 and depart at 13.00 terminal C for Orlando. Is this enough time to get through customs, immigration and baggage and make the flight? and do i need to get my baggage from Newark and recheck it in again or i will get it from orlando Thanks devonte
You have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to Terminal C and go through security. You have barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.
International arrival at terminal B, united. Is there a global entry kiosk in terminal B?
Hi, I am flying on Sat Aug 26/17 from Chattanooga to EWR then from EWR to YYZ (Toronto, Canada). I have a 57min lay-over in EWR. I only have carry-on baggage. Will I have enough time to make my flight to YYZ. Thanks, Lou
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate, both of which will probably be in Terminal A.
Flying in from Edinburgh, Scotland, then connecting Newark to San Francisco. Is 1 hr 45 mins long enough to pass through customs and reach my flight in time?...Thanks
That is just enough time if everything goes perfectly. You will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, possibly take the AirTrain to Terminal C, then go through security and to your departure gate.
Thank you for your replies. Perhaps I had better make my return from Edinburgh with a little more connection time....4 hours might be a better choice by the sound of things....thank you.
Do the international flights from Edinburgh....not always fly into terminal C...I am flying United...just wondering if I would need to change terminals or not for my return from Edinburgh and then flying to San Francisco....thanks
Yes, many international arrivals on United arrive into Terminal B.
We land inEWR from DTW and need to get to the international terminal (gate unknown). What is the route?
If both flights are on United then you will arrive in Terminal A or C and depart from Terminal C. If you arrive in Terminal A, you can take a shuttle inside security to C. If you arrive in C, you just walk to your departure gate.
Hi - I'm flying United from Boston to Newark (landing in terminal C) and then flying Delta from Newark to SLC (Leaving from terminal B). I have a very tight connection - about 30 minutes. I'm getting spooked by all this talk about the monorail and the possibility of having to go through security again (?!?... is that just international??)... Which way does the monorail travel? Can I go straight from C to B? Is it possible to walk? How long do I realistically need to do this? Thank you!!
This is not a realistic connection. The only way you could maybe make it is take the United shuttle bus from gate C71 to concourse B1, where United has a few domestic gates. Luckily this is also the concourse that Delta uses. The shuttle bus runs inside security but it does not run frequently.
Is there anyway to find out the typical schedule of the shuttle bus? I essentially have no other option than to attempt this connection. It appears that the incoming flight typically "docks" between 6:05am-6:15am (per flight aware) and the outgoing Delta flight will START boarding at 6:30am (with a cutoff of 6:50am). If I sit in the front of the plane, don't have to exit security, and can home-alone-it to the bus, I'm thinking I have a chance? Is there anyway to pay for an airport guide?
There's a chance. There's no such thing as an "airport guide".
Just an update, I made it with about 20-30 minutes to spare. We landed early and the United shuttle bus to terminal B worked like a dream. I was off the plane and at terminal B in less than 10 minutes.
I'm looking at a flight from Tortolla BVI to San Juan to Newark to Halifax..I'm assuming I'll go through customs in San Juan so I'm wondering if 1hr 5 mins is enough connection time in Newark to catch my flight to Halifax..YHZ.
Yes, that is enough time. If both flights are on United then that is enough time in Newark. All you do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. If you depart from Terminal A, it is connected to Terminal C where you arrive inside security by a shuttle bus that leaves from near gate C71.
