I will be arriving on United from FRA and departing on United to SDF 2 hours later. I have global entry clearance. Will this leave me enough time to clear, pick up bags and re-check bags being the flights are on separate legs?
Yes, that should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I will be flying into Newark and my next flight departs 1 hour 50 minutes after my incoming flight arrives. I land at 5:30PM from Reykjavik (Wow) and depart at 7:20PM for St. Louis (United). Is this enough time to deplane, clear customs and immigration, pick up luggage, get to the new terminal, check bags, go through security and then get on our connecting flight? I usually have TSA precheck when I fly, but not always. If not, there's another flight that leaves 40 minutes later, but it gets me to STL 3 hours later. Thx
No, that is not enough time, especially when you consider that most Wow flights are late.
I am flying to Orlando via Newark with United from Edinburgh! I have the same reservation all the way to Orlando! I will be arriving into Terminal B and leaving for Orlando from terminal C. Will I need to collect and re check my bag in?
No, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Newark. Also both flights will likely be in Terminal C.
I have the same thing, arriving Terminal B and leaving Terminal C with the same connection time. I was told I have to pick bags and then drop them off again after customs.
Flying from St Louis on United, then Aer Lingus to Dublin. We have 81 minutes, is it possible to make the connection? Both legs are on the same booking.
Yes, that is enough time. You will likely arrive in Terminal A. From there take the AirTrain to Terminal B where you depart and go through security and to your departure gate.
hello,
I arrive at 18:30 in Newark with a UA flight from Punta Cana connecting to a UA flight (same airline company) Los Angeles scheduled ate 20:15. I am a Canadian citizen and I have one checked baggage. Should I claim and re- check my baggage in Newark?
Is 1 h 45 min OK to catch the second flight If the first flight and second are the same UA airline and arriving and leaving from the same C Gates?
Yes, you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at at the re-check desk, take the AirTrain to Terminal C if you arrive in B and go through security. That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. You could arrive in B or C.
Thank you
Due to schedule changes we now have an 81 minute connection at EWR. MXP (UA18 )- EWR (UA 33) - TPA on United. Our group of 4 are traveling on separate tickets. My wife and I are in Business with Global entry and United wants to push us back to a later flight (4 hrs). While our daughter and husband are traveling Economy Plus, do not have Global entry and he travels on a British passport yet their connection has not been changed by airline. Can we make the connection or should we change to later flight? We prefer to stay together.
With global entry and in business you could make it, but they probably couldn't. I would ask to all be on the later flight.
Arriving from Toronto at terminal A with a 51 minute connection time for flight to Aruba at terminal C. Do we have to collect luggage and recheck? Do we have enough time?
You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do is take the shuttle bus to Terminal C and walk to your departure gate. The shuttle bus runs inside security.
what about checked baggage? do we have to pick it up and take it or is it transferred?
It is transferred for you.
I have my son flying solo first time from Indinapolis to Myrtle. How hard will it be for him to switch and get connection at the EWR airport?
Both flights will likely be in Terminal A. If that's the case it will not be hard at all.
Hi. Have relatives booked United to Memphis and have a stop of 1hr 20mins at Newark. Am trying to organise it for them and as I have never done the trip (unfortunately) I just wanted to know if luggage will be transferred automatically and is it far/difficult for them to find connection? Appreciate your help.
Where are they flying into Newark from?
Connecting from TC to TA to Aruba on United. Should I use the Shuttle Bus or AirTrain to TA?
Do you mean you're going from A to C? Then take the shuttle bus as it runs inside security. Flights to Aruba leave from C.
