    Lost on SAS fligt 2 April fróm Stockholm to Newark. Blue/red/white readingglasses, brand Ray-ban lost. SAS says I have to contact the ones who cleans the aircraft but no one seems to know who they are. Grateful for any suggestions who to contact.

    All items lost onboard the airplane, regardless of airports, need to be reported to - and is the responsibility of -the lost & found department of the Airline (SAS)- whether the cleaning crew or someone else turned it over.

    There is no help for things lost on United planes. I contected everybody about a lost Kindle on April 1. Baggage claim says they can't help - fill ou the on-line form. The only place I got a live person was at United Problem Resolution 1-800-335-2247. Still no help. They also deleted all my posts from April 1 which showed all the numbers that I called and all the persons who were unwilling to try to help me. Good luck!

    While items lost in the gate areas should be reported to your airline's lost &found department, it may be also a good idea to contact the oyster bar.

    If your passport was turned in, at EWR your most likely contacts would be either TSA Lost & Found at 908-787-0667 or the Port Authority Police Lost & Found Custodian at 973-961-6243.

    Sometime between 9 AM & 9:30 AM on April 1, 2012 I left a dress in a white garbage bag hanging on the door knob of the handicapped stall in the ladies restroom at the RAIL station. This was the bathroom right near the Amtrak ticket counter. The dress itself is bluish, greyish, green but was covered by a white garbage bag. If you found this please respond to this post.     Try Newark airport operator 973-961-6154. Very nice person gave me number for United lost and found. 973-681-0655. Otherwise, you submit the form on-line and it falls into a black hole.

    This number is still a black hole. There is no customer service for lost items from United. We even entered an elite customer service request on-line, but no response. Very un-impressed.

    Around 16.00, on March 24, I lost a tube with three or four posters of Paintings of Claude Monet and Renoir, and inside are the declaration of independence and the bill of rights, in a papyrus letter.
