Is the international terminal C ? Also is it well marked how to get to long term parking?

Both Terminals B and C handle international flights. C handles United departures and some United International arrivals. B handles all other airline International arrivals and some United International arrivals.

I am flying into Newark from Toronto and only have 1hr 10min connection time. I will only have a carry on bag and we go through US customs in Toronto before we fly out. I have to get from Terminal A to C. Will I have time to make my flight? Both flights are with United

That is enough time if your first flight is on-time. There is a shuttle bus inside security between A and C.

What steps do I take once I land in sweden? I've never flown before, let alone out of the country

In Newark you will just go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You will likely arrive in Terminal A and depart from Terminal C - United runs a shuttle bus inside security between their gates in A and C. If you are flying SAS to ARN you will depart from Terminal B. There is also a shuttle there. Once you land in Stockholm you will go through passport control, claim your bags, and then go through customs, which may just be you walk through a gate.

Thank you so much! I appreciate your response! It's really helped ease a lot of nerves :)

I am flying Delta thru ATL and landing at Newark. How do I get to United airlines-am going to ireland. Thank you.

You take the AirTrain from Terminal B to Terminal C. If you have checked baggage you will have to claim it from Delta and bring it on the airtrain with you to Terminal C to re-check.

I am picking up someone arriving from Europe. When you exit straight from customs to the street, which level are you on?

    The lowest level.

If we get through Customs Preclearance in Dublin, do we simply walk to the gate of our connection? Do we have to go through security again? Thanks.

You just go straight to your departure gate.

Great, so a shorter connection of 1:20 is ok then? How do we know if we can do Preclearance in Dublin....is it always open? thanks.

Yes it is now used by every flight from Dublin to the US. You should have enough time.

Currently sitting on Tarmac at BWI due to delays in Newark according to pilot. Have a connection to make at 2:45pm to PTY are all flights delayed?

The 2:45 flight departed on-time. There is a midnight flight.

When there is a known issue with the Air Train (like there was 12/27/15 with terminal C) please have the "Red Coats" knowledgeable to know one will have to take a shuttle to terminal C. That was a giant mess yesterday.

This is not EWR or United's website. Nobody from those entities will see your comments /complaints.

The signage inside the elevator is quite confusing and has been for some time with regard to what services can be found on what floors. You press four and the door says 3 so you don't get off not knowing that 3 is the new 4.

1 US and 1 Swiss citizen arriving EWR on 27 Dec from ZRH with 7 hour layover to continuing flight wish to leave transit area to meet people in public part of the airport. Does luggage for connecting flights within USA have to be collected and re-checked on arrival EWR? How long will the exiting & reentering process take? Many thanks for info

You will arrive, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk. At this point you will be outside the secure area. There are no "transit areas" at US Airports.

I have a 14 hours layover in Newark, will I have to claim my luggage or can I check them through my final destination? I'm travelling with AA and every flights are on the same reservation.

You will have to ask the agent in your origin city. AA does not have a hub in Newark. Where are you flying from and to?

By mistake I think I posted the following in the wrong forum..January 10, 2015 flying YWG - YYZ - EWR arriving EWR on AC (United 8202) at 1035 PM. Connecting next morning January 11, 2015 at 9:04 AM to United 1040 travelling to AUA. All ticketed on United. I am aware of US immigration and customs procedures in YYZ. My question is - will my bags be checked through to AUA or will I need to gather them in Newark for the night and check them at United counter in the morning? We have booked a room at the Marriott at the airport. Thanks, Jim
