I am arriving on a flight from Quebec at 2:00 on May 28th. Then I need to take monorail to train station for a 3:25 departure. Is that going to be enough time to clear customs and claim my luggage?
What city in Quebec are you coming from? Where are you connecting to?
Quebec City
Taking the train at EWR Amtrak station headed to Richmond VA
That is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Traveling with group of 18 passengers from RDU to ZURICH -with a 4 hour delay in ERW. Our luggage should be processed all the way and we won't see till we arrive in ZURICH correct ? Also, do they have any lounges or areas large enough for my group ? 4 hours is a long time.

Is your flight to Zurich on United or Swiss? Yes, if both flights are on the same reservation you don't have to do anything with your bags in Newark.
has EWR improved their customs and immigration clearance in last 15 years? Do they have a good system for those of us with GLOBAL passport (prescreened) to get through lines and recheck bags on a connecting flight? thanks
Yes, if you have global entry it should not be difficult. Lots has changed in 15 years.
My husband's plane arrives at EWR at 3:50 pm from Spain and he needs to get on another plane (United) to come home, we have three different time options: 5:20 pm, 6:21 pm or 8:35 pm. Which would you suggest we book? Thank you in advance for your help.
I would choose the 6:21
That is the one that I thought to pick, thank you so much!
Hi, We have a connection flight via EWR. We are flying out of Vancouver, Canada, arriving at 5PM terminal A with Air Canada. Then we got to hop on a 6:30pm flight to Lisbon with TAP. Our travel agency told us we didn't have to re-check our luggage, but I am reading otherwise. Can someone advise? is 90 minutes sufficient time to get to Terminal B? would 60 minutes be sufficient case we're delayed? I suppose we have to go though security again, but hoping not to re-check the bags.

Any help will ease my stress. We are moving to the UK, have lots of luggage, and a baby (which usually helps skipping the lines!).

thank you!
That is correct, since you will pre-clear US Immigration and customs in Vancouver, you don't have to do anything with your bags in Newark on the way to Portugal. All you have to do is take the AirTrain to Terminal B and go through security. You have enough time.
Travelling from Scotland U.K. Passport is there separate border control for us as we are travelling united airlines and catching connecting flight to Las Vegas arriving terminal b connecting united flight terminal c 2 hrs 10 mins later
Repeat users of ESTA are allowed to use the Kiosks that US and Canadian citizens use. If you are a first-time ESTA user you have to wait in the line that people entering on a visa use. You should have enough time.
there is one terminal at Newark that i remember is always the most difficult to pick up a passenger from - the ramp goes down and there's a ton of cars and a traffic light before you reach the arrivals doors - is it A or C?
C is a much newer terminal than A - does that help?
it doesn't really answer my question, but thanks for commenting.
Hi everybody, I have my parents coming from Milan Malpensa to Chicago, connecting through Newark with 1 hour 30 minutes time. Will this layover time enough for connection? Both flights are United and looks like they are landing/taking off on Terminal C. Will my parents have to collect baggages, re-check them and also go again through security control? Thanks everybody for any reply and Merry Christmas! Diego
That's just enough time if everything goes smoothly. If they miss their connection, United flies hourly flights from Newark to Chicago.
Thanks Zap, how about baggages collection, re-check and security control? Do they have to do that? Thanks again!
Yes, in Newark they will have to go through US Immigration, claim their bags, go through US Customs, re-check their bags at the re-check desk, and go through security and to their departure gate.
Does anyone know if you need to go the security again when arriving on a domestic and leaving on an international flight?
What airlines are you flying? Where are you flying from and going to?
is 2hr 10mins enough time arriving from a flight from edinburgh going to Toronto?,
That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
