East Midlands Airport (EMA) Terminal Map

The passenger terminal at East Midlands has now an automated gate system for travelers with the new ePassport (before going through it, remove hat, glasses, mobile phone or other electronic devices). 
The terminal houses an information desk (tel. 0871 919 9000) which also arranges for wheelchairs.
Foreign currency exchange services are offered by Travelex in the Arrivals and in pre- and post-security areas. T
he Penauille Servisair lounge is in post-security, available at a modest charge.

To speed up getting to security check, you can buy a ticket at the departure lounge for the Express Lane (open 5am-7pm).

Other services and amenities inside the passenger terminal include choice of food & drink establishments, shops, an Executive Lounge, wireless hotspots, ATM machines, duty-free shops, lost & found, left luggage, first aid station, and a travel agency.

NOTE: People with profound and multiple learning disabilities can now use the state-of-the-art 'Changing Places' toilet, fitted with height-adjustable changing bench, overhead hoist system & space either side of the toilet to allow support from caretakers." The terminal is currently undergoing extensive upgrade work, including extension of the arrivals area, creation of bus interchange & pier, additional airline gates, and other cosmetic & environmental changes - all to be completed by year-end 2013.
