Ocala OCF Airport Overview
Ocala International Airport OCF, located in Ocala, Central Florida, is a General Aviation facility, which has not had commercial airline service since the early 1980s, and, due to its current runway length and competing airports like Gainesville, Orlando and Tampa, it is not likely that scheduled air service will return.
However, OCF's facilities were expanded over the years and many other improvements had been made and are still being made, while Ocala City intends to concentrate on operating the airport as a general aviation facility, improving the current infrastructures to levels designed to accommodate air cargo and other large non-scheduled aviation flights.
