Oita OIT Airport Overview

Oita Airport OIT is located in Kunisaki, and 30 km northeast of the city of Oita, Oita Prefecture, on Kyushu Island, Japan. It is accessible directly by Route 213 (to Kunisaki Musashi-machi or to Oita Beppu) . 
Oita  Airport, open daily 6:30am-10:30pm, is served by domestic airlines ANA, JAL and Japan Air Commuter offering daily flights to Tokyo-Haneda, Nagoya Centrair, & Osaka Itami, while Korean Air offers flights to Seoul-Incheon.

The three-level Passenger Terminal at Oita Airport offers the following services and amenities on its three levels:
Level 1 is divided into Domestic Departures and Domestic & International Arrivals. The Domestic Check-in Lobby contains an Information desk, hotel reservation, baggage delivery and rental car desks, First-Aid station, locker room, coin lockers, JAL & ANA counters with a store in between, Domestic Arrivals Lobby, Domestic Baggage Claim, Baby-room, vending machine, ATM cash machine, and coffee shop . The International area has the International Baggage Claim, rental car counters,  International Arrivals, Departures & Gate Lounge, and International Check-in Lobby with a store.
Level 2 is for Domestic Departures with Gates 7-11, a Gate Lounge with two shops, the Domestic Departure Lobby with 2 shops, a smoking area, vending machine, a reception room, and a waiting room for rent, a nursery, ATM cash machine and 2 coffee shops.
Level 3 houses the Observation Deck and four food & drink establishments.
 
Parking options at Oita Airport: Across from the passenger terminal is a lot with a total of 706 spaces, including 10 separate parking spaces for the disabled (at half price upon presentation of proper pass). A long-term parking lot is across from the Airport Exit on Route 213.
 
To get from Oita Airport to your destination, you can rent a car, take a taxi (taxi stands are in front of the passenger terminal), or a bus (Bus stops 1, 2 & 3 are across from International Arrivals) and the Hovercraft Boarding slip is across from the charter bus parking lot.The Horbar Hovercraft charges about 2,950 yen for a single, or 5,000 yen for a round-trip ticket.
