Northwest Florida Regional Airport VPS is located near Fort Walton Beach and Valparaiso in Okaloosa County, Florida. Interstate 10--Exit 56 to Route 85 South--are major connections to the Airport, and Florida's Emerald Coast with its beautiful beaches along a 24-mile stretch of sugar-white sands and sparkling emerald-green waters is right around the corner. Vacationers flock to the Emerald Coast to for its beaches, links of championship golf and undeniably fresh seafood. The Airport is open daily from 4am until the last flight of the day and provides scheduled commercial passenger air service for the entire Northwest Florida region--from Panama City to Pensacola.
The state-of-the-art Northwest Florida Regional Airport, with over 800,000 passengers annually, is served by major airlines offering direct and connecting flights to Atlanta, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Memphis and Tampa.

The passenger terminal of NW Florida Regional includes the following amenities: Retail and restaurant facilities--including the Tropical Landing Bar with seven plasma screen televisions--and Quizno's Subs. Gift shops are in the public area near security as well as in the upper and lower concourse levels. Free WiFi nternet access is available throughout the terminal. Courtesy phones in the baggage claim area connect you free to hotels and other services. Two ATM machines are near the main entrance and on the second level of the concourse. Outside you find free curbside assistance and a free shuttle will take you from the parking lot.
Travelers utilizing the new rental car facility will now access rental car pick up and drop off at the ready/return lot on the east side of the terminal, thereby decreasing walking distance and providing a more convenient passenger drop off at curbside, and rental car pick up from the counters inside the terminal.

Short- and long-term parking lots offer the first 10 minutes free; payment to be made when exiting (at the large toll booth). Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted. Handicap parking is available in short- and long-term parking. T

Northwest Florida Regional is served by over 50 ground transportation companies, transporting passengers to/from the Northwest Florida Panhandle area. Since there is no public transporation available, the local shuttle service companies are a convenient choice. Available ground transportation includes taxis, limos, shuttles--and of course, you can also rent a car at the Airport to get to your destination.
