PFN Airport Overview
Panama City-Bay County International Airport PFN is located 4 miles north of downtown Panama City, Florida, and approximately 10 minutes from its great beaches along the Gulf of Mexico. It is readily accessible from Highway 98 (turn north onto Lisenby Avenue, then follow Lisenby Avenue 1.8 miles directly to the Airport terminal). Delta Connection and Northwest Airlink service the airport with flights to connecting hubs Atlanta and Memphis. The airport is particularly busy during the winter months and college spring-breaks.
In January 2008 construction began on the new Panama City - Bay County International Airport and is in great part completed with a new terminal, extended runway, control tower and on-airport industrial park. With the opening of the new Airport and efforts to enroll more airlines, concessions and businesses, the Airport has a great future.
The City of Panama, located in the northwestern part of Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico, at St. Andrews Bay, boasts over 27 miles of award-winning beaches and has been recognized by the Travel Channel, Southern Living Magazine and Dr. Beach as a top US beach destination.
