  • How to go to T2 from T1
    Sep 27, 2014

I'm arriving at T1 from Malaysia, I need to catch next flight at T2 to London. I just have one hand luggage and no baggage to collect. Do i need to go through passport control? How do i go from T1 to T2? How long it would take? I just have 90minutes

Yes, you will have to go through passport control, then take the CDGVAL to Terminal 2. I don't know how long it will take. If you have to check in separately for your flight to London you may get to T2 too late for that.

I just bring one hand luggage and i don't have to go to counter to check-in for flight to go to London. I will doing it online and i just have to go straightly to terminal 2 after passport control. I don't have baggage to check-in. Is it possible?

Where are you coming from and where are you going? that determines the necessity of passport control.

I'm from Malaysia and i'm going to London

  • Transfer from T3 to T2

I am arriving from Madrid to T3 terminal by Vueling flight. I have to catch next Oman Air flights from T2 terminal. I have to collect baggage also. How long will it take to reach T2 boarding gate?

I would try to leave at least 3 hours between your flights. That's a fairly complex connection.

  • Passport Control at CDG

We are flying Air France from Boston to Budapest (Schengen country). We arrive at Terminal 2E and will transfer to 2F. We are flying Premium Economy, so have access to Sky Priority lanes. My understanding is that we have to go through passport control but our bags are checked through to Budapest. My concern is that we only have 70 minutes between flights- a legal connection as far as Air France is concerned, but I am concerned about the time it would take to be processed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, you have the procedure correct. You should have enough time, especially with Sky Priority.

  • Transfer from Delta to Air France flights DTW-CDG-DEL

I am connecting from a Delta flight from DTW to CDG, continuing on to DEL. All in T2E. One ticket, but two different reservation numbers (One Delta, one Air France). Will I need to go through passport control, etc, and what are the odds that my luggage will make it with me to DEL? Layover time is about 3 hours.

You will not go through passport control as both flights are Non-Schengen. You should have plenty of time and while there's no guarantees, I'm pretty sure your baggage will make it.

  • Singapore To CDG Terminal and Connection AF 7662 To Marseille

I will be arriving CDG Terminal 1 from Singapore by SQ Flight. Do I need to collect my luggages and go through Custom again when I take my connection flight AF 7662 to Marseille at CDG Terminal 2F ? I only have 2 hrs between my connection, it is sufficient ? Thanks.

Were your tickets purchased together or separately. If purchased together you will not have to claim them in CDG, they will go directly to Marseille. If separately you will have to claim them, go through customs, and then re-check them with Air France.

Arriving Terminal 2E on Air France and need to get to 2A (El AL) ...CDG website says only go thru security but not customs. Will I need to collect bags and recheck them ? How long will terminal transfer and bag recheck take on average? Would it be walking or taking a shuttle between terminals? Thanks so much !!

Since both flights are non-schengen you will only go through security. You don't have to do anything with your bags or go through Schengen immigration.

  • Arriving at CDG from Mumbai in transit

We are arriving at CDG at 08:30 this august and we will be in transit to Boston. Our connecting flight is at 16:45. Is it possible to do the transit tours of Paris? Do we need to apply for a visa for this reason or can we get a visa at the airport that will enable us to do one of the sightseeing tours offered at the airport? We are Indian nationals..

You will have to apply for a visa beforehand. You can't apply for a Visa in the airport.

Find out if India is on of the Visa-Waiver countries (no need for Visa) at France, if not, inquire at Info booth location of visa desk. While tourist/ sightseeing bus counters are in the baggage claim area of the terminals - you may also use the following transport options into Paris: 1. Local buses 350 & 351 run between the Airport & central Paris: The Roissybus (open: www.ratp.fr) serves all three terminals and runs to Place de l'Opéra, connecting there to the Paris Métro, and taking 45-60 minutes. 2. RER trains (visit: www.ratp.fr) serve the airport in conjunction with ADP shuttles. Line B runs from Terminal 1 and from the TGV station at Terminal 2 to Gare du Nord, Chatelet-les-Halles, St Michel, Luxembourg, Port Royal and Denfert-Rochereau, with connections to the Metro. Travel time to Gare du Nord is about 25 minutes.

  • Luggage pick up when transferring flights

We are flying from San Francisco to Paris and switching planes to Barcelona. Will we have to collect our checked luggage in Paris and recheck it in or will it go straight to Barcelona? Thanks!

You arrive at Barcelona El Prat as a non-Schengen (foreign) arrival, needing to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & re-check-in bags where indicated; then proceed to your connecting gate. On arrival at CDG, you will be Schengen (domestic) arrival. For more terminal & transfer info, open www.ifly.com/bcn, then click on 'Terminal Map' under 'QUICK LINKS', and scroll down to the detailed text.

I will arrive from Atlanta at CDG at T2E at 8:10 A.M. then transfer to Marseille at T2F. I would like to know if I am supposed to go through immigration and or customs at CDG first before leaving for Marseille. I only have 84 minutes between flights which are both on Air France. Do I have enough time? Thank you very much for whatever advise you could give me.

You will go through Schengen immigration in Paris. It's not a choice you'll have to make, when you go towards your flight to Marseille you will have to go through it. Yes, you should have enough time.

Thank you very much, Zap. That's very helpful.
