Yes, that should be enough time.

Flying into CDG from Montreal Canada at 9:35 AM Terminal 2A and need to get to Terminal 2D for a flight to Biarritz at 11:10. The date of my flights not until end of August. Just booked the flights yesterday. Now I'm concerned. On an average day, should I be able to make the flight? I don't have checked baggage, just a carryon backpack. I need to get through Customs and not sure what else. Thanks

Yes, that should be enough time. You will just have to go through passport control and to your departure gate.

I am arriving terminal 1 and would like to meet a passenger arriving at terminal 2. I do not have a boarding pass for terminal 2 as Paris is final destination. Is this possible

You will have to meet him at the exit of customs or the CDGVAL station. If you're going to take the RER into Paris, I suggest just meeting at the RER station.

Thanks for the advice. Do passengers arriving at terminal 1 and terminal 2 both uses the same customs area?

No, Terminal 1 and 2 are very far apart, but they are connected by the CDGVAL train.

Thanks for info. I am arriving at 2E looks like only one boarder control, correct? We have only hand luggage, what instructions specifically should we give passenger arriving at Termnal 1, so she can meet us without getting lost? Also is taxis stand close? Thank you so much.

I'm arriving in Air Canada from Montreal and flying to Milan on Alitalia. Connection time is only 1h10mins. Got checked bags. Will I make it?

Are you on two separate reservations or one? On two separate reservations, no I don't think that's enough time to claim your bags from Air Canada and get to Terminal 1 and re-check them in time.

I'm on the same reservation. Do I need to claim luggage and go through Customs or does it go directly from Montreal to Milan>

Sorry, for some reason I thought your connection was in Rome, not Paris. You will not have to claim your bags, however, you will have to go from 2A, through Schengen Passport control, and then all the way to 2F for your departure. This will not be easy to do in an hour.

    Thanks so much!

We are arriving AF from Jfk terminal 2e. Transferring to terminal 2f for AF to BOD 1 hour connection. Will we make it and what is our best route

Just follow the signs to 2F. You should have enough time if your flight from JFK is on-time.

I'm flying AF from Detroit going to Venice. Land at 11:30 AM. Have just over an hour layover. Is that enough time to get to my next flight?

It's possible, but leaves very little time to spare and the Delta/Air France operation at CDG Terminal 2 is huge.

i'm flying from tel aviv to u.s.a via cdg airport in paris in air france. i have 1 hour and 35 minutes connection. is it enough time?

That should be just enough time. I believe you will have to go through security in Paris.

I have to switch airport CDG to ORY does anyone know how much this may cost?? And are there any vegan places to eat around?

Air France offers a direct shuttle bus from CDG to ORY for 19 Euro.

We will be arriving on AF in terminal 2E (hall M?) making a connecting flight to Budapest in terminal 2F. Our connection time is 1 hr 25 minutes. Will we make the connection with checked bags or must we carry on to do so?

That should be enough time, depending on where you are coming from.

    Thank you!

  • Connecting through CDG

Flying Delta from Atlanta USA to NCE and connecting through CDG. Will we need to claim our baggage, do customs and re-enter security at CDG? I've connected through CDG before on international flights and remember the customs and security lines being so long, many people missed their connecting flights. What will it be like to connect to NCE? Thanks!

In CDG you will go through passport control but don't have to do anything with your bags or go through security since you are coming from the US.

    thanks!

Should be barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Exit security to recheck luggage?
    Jan 19, 2016

I am flying from Florence (FLR) to CDG on 22 Feb. on Air France and then changing to a separate reservation on Air Canada to Los Angeles (via connection in Montreal). Is 1 hour 20 minutes enough time to switch airlines and recheck luggage? Do I have to exit security and reenter to check bags on Air Canada or can it be done within the security area? Thank you in advance

There's pretty much no way you can make that connection with checked bags. You will have to exit the secure area, claim your bags, take them all the way across the mammoth Terminal 2, re-check them with Air Canada, go through Schengen Exit Passport control, and security. There's no way you can do that in 80 minutes.

I was afraid that would be the feedback. There is an earlier flight, so I will bite the bullet and take the 8am instead.

US citizen flying AF from FCO-CDG-LAX. 1 hour 45 minute connection time. Will I have to change terminals,and/or go through security a second time in CDG? Enough time to connect? Thx in advance.

Yes, that should be plenty of time. You should not have to go through security as all Air France gates are connected and you will have gone through security in an EU country. You will have to go through Schengen exit passport control and maybe some US security questions at the gate. You should have enough time.

  • Arriving and leaving from Terminal 2E

We are arriving from Morocco at Terminal 2E and leaving for Seattle at terminal 2E. Will we be able to go from one gate to another easily (no security check) or does that depend on the gates we arrive and depart from?

Since you are flying from a Non-EU country to the US you will have to go through security in Paris.

  • Terminal 3 to 2F, 1 1/2 hours in between

Flying into CDG on Vueling from Madrid, arrives 9:00 am in Terminal 3. My connecting Delta flight to Seattle leaves at 10:30 am. from Terminal 2F. I will have no checked baggage, just carry-on. Will I have to go through passport control and then airport security or just passport control? Either way will 1 1/2 hours be enough? Thanks.

That will be difficult but it's possible. You won't have to do anything upon arrival but will go through Schengen exit passport control and security in T2 before departure.

I have the option of instead flying in on Air France to terminal 2E, gets in at 10:15, 15 minutes later than the Vueling flight. Would that be a better option do you think?

    Ooops, I mean 9:15.

The Air France flight will probably be easier.
