Flying Air France is 1hour 15 mins enough layover time to get connecting flight?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Hello! We are flying into CDG on Iceland Air on Sunday, March 26, arriving at 12:55pm. We will then need to collect our bags, go through passport control and customs, and then re-check bags with British Airways (I am pretty sure that we have to go all the way to the departure check in counters, right? If we arrive at 12:55, will we have enough time to get onto a 4pm flight?
Yes, you will have to go all the way out. That should be enough time.
Arriving from AMS 9:25am at terminal 2F and connecting to BLR 11:25am. Is that enough time to clear customs and security for the connecting flight?
connecting flight to BLR will leave from terminal 2E by the way :-)
You just need to go through Schengen Exit passport control and to your departure gate. You have plenty of time.
I notice there are 2 Air France terminals (2B and 2C). We will be arriving from Rome on AF (operated by Alitalia) to CDG @1010, connecting AF @1340 to USA. Are these 2 flights in the same terminal?
We just have carry ons luggages. We should have enough time?
Thanks
There are actually more than 2. Air Frances uses 2B, 2C, 2D, and 2E. You will likely have to change terminals, but all gates are connected inside security. You just have to go through Schengen Exit Passport control and to your departure gate.
Arriving from SFO 4:45pm and connecting FLR 5:50pm. Is there enough time to clear customs and security for the connecting flight? Thanks!
That will be pretty tough. You will just go through Passport control and to your departure gate.
Good morning -
We will be departing 9/17 from Rome on Air France, arriving CDG @ 0855, connecting with American Airline @ 1215 to Chicago. Do we have enough time. Do we need to go through security check? Thanks so much.
Are your tickets on one reservation or two separate reservations?
2 separate reservations.
That should be just enough time. You will have to claim your bags from Air France, take them to the American check-in desk in 2A, re-check them with American, go through security and Schengen Exit passport control and to your gate. If you don't have checked bags it's a lot easier.
Thank you so much for your information.
Just one more question - we have not finalized our flight/travel arrangements yet. It appears Alitalia and Delta airlines are in the same terminal 2C. Would it be much easier and convenient to fly Alitalia from Rome to CDG and connect Delta on our return trip to USA?
Yes, especially if you purchased the tickets on the same reservation, then all you would have to do in Paris is go through Schengen Exit Passport control and walk to your departure gate.
Forgot to mention - we travel with just carry-ons.
Then you just have to go through Schengen Exit Passport Control and to your departure gate regardless (if you fly American then you might have to stop at the American transfer desk if you can't check in online).
Arriving from Seattle on Delta May 27 on way to Basel Switzerland. First stop is CDG with 2 hr layover. Second stop is Amsterdam with 1 hr layover before HOP flight to Basel. Will I have enough time in these connections. I know I have to go through passport control and security at CDG. Will i have to go through screening again in Amsterdam on my way to Basel? Thanks.
In Paris you will go through Schengen Entry Passport Control. All you have to do in Amsterdam is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Hello.I am Georgian citizen.I have Air France flight from Sao Paulo to Baku via CDG airport(paris-baku is Air france flight, operated by Azerbaijan airlines). I have terminal change in CDG from terminal 2E to 2D. Do I have to take passport control and is there any kind of visa needed?
That is still a sterile transfer (no passport control). Citizens of Georgia can do sterile transits of the Schengen Area without a transit visa.

Hi, I am traveling from Detroit to Mumbai with a layover in Paris for 3hrs and 5mins. My US visa stamping has expired. I will be leaving US for India. Do I need a transit visa to make a connecting flight via Paris.
Yes, assuming you are an Indian citizen, since your US Visa is no longer valid you will need a Schengen Airport Transit Visa issued by France.
