Arriving form Australia at Terminal 1 Singapore Airlines, need to collect bags & re check in with Air France for flight to Lyon Terminal 2F. Flight arrives in at 7.30am connecting flight is at 10.20am. Will we make connecting flight after collecting bags & re checking in? Thankyou
That should be enough time if your first flight is on-time.
@BBJ ...I have same as yours. Will arrive at T1 by Singapore Airline and continue to Bordeaux by Air France at T2f. Can you share me the procedures in deatils how you went through? The Airline will issue the Sin-Paris Boarding pass but they said my bags will be checked-through till Bordeaux. Nonetheless, since I don't have Paris-Bordeaux Boarding passes, I need to check-in again I think. But I don't know where. Could you please share me your experiences in deatils. Thank you^^
Hello - arriving from US on Delta Terminal 2E; departing Air France Terminal 2F to Lyon. As the flights were booked separately, the checked bags are not checked through to LYS. Approx how much time is needed and can you confirm we would have to go to baggage claim and then to Air France check-in. Thank you
You can show your Air France confirmation to the Delta agent in your origin city and ask that your bags be tagged through to Lyon. If they are able to then you can go directly to your departure gate and 90 mins-2 hours is sufficient. if you have to claim your bags I'd want 3 hours.
Thank you, I will give that a try.
We are Americans with Air France flights from Zurich to San Francisco with a CDG connection/plane change. The Zurich flight lands at Terminal 2E, The CDG to SFO flight leaves from Terminal 2F 65 minutes later. Seems tight...Do we go through passport control/customs in CDG?
You will go through Schengen Exit Passport Control in Paris, this is indeed a difficult connection but not impossible.
Hello , we are hoping to book a flight from NAPLES ITALY TO PARIS, WITH AIR FRANCE AIRLINES ARRIVING AT PARIS FRANCE AT 2:50. We were hoping to transfer to Norwegian airlines for a flight at 6:15pm departure to JFK.. Is that possible to do with the time we have to get our luggage, and recheck in. were not sure what to do.
That should be enough time if the air France flight is on-time. You will have to claim your bags and take the CDGVAL from Terminal 2 to Terminal 1 to re-check them with Norwegian.
How long is usually checking bags, pretty smooth?
Are they close to each other? The terminals
No, they are not close to each other. They're practically on opposite sides of the airport.
Was reading that it says it takes about 8min or so to take the shuttle from one terminal to another, is that correct?
Eh, maybe a little more than that.
I booked a Delta flight between Salt Lake City and Paris which will arrive CDG 11:15 (Terminal 2E). I am now searching a connection flight to Ajaccio (AJA). There is one available at 13:00 (Terminal 2F). Is 1 hour and 45 minutes enough to make the connection? Or will I better off to book a 17:45 fly between ORY and AJA?
The first connection would be very borderline.
Ok, Thanks for the information. I will go with the safer option.
I am flying with Air France, going to CDG, France from LAX, US, arrival at 11:05 am. At 12:35pm, I have another Air France Flight to go to Florence, Italy. Do you know if my flight from LAX will arrive at Hall K, L, or M in 2E ? I have read that it will take the least time to get from 2F from Hall K but more time with other halls. Even in the worst scenario, will I most likely be able to make it to my Florence flight within 90min? assuming my first flight is fairly on time. I only have 1 carry-on, NO checked bag. Thank you.
You won't know the hall until the day of your flight. 90 minutes is possible but by no means automatic.
Thank you for your reply. I got it. Will pray for my luck then.
It is my first time traveling with a connection that is not the same airline. I am arriving at 2E on an Air France Flight and departing 2hs 50 minutes later from 2A on a British Air flight to London. I only have a carry on and have a US passport. Can I make this connection or should I change my flight?
With only a carry on I think you can make it. Where are you arriving into CDG from?
OK, that will make it a bit more difficult but with no checked bags it should still be possible.
Any suggestion on how to expedite and transfer between terminals? Should I get my check in for British beforehand so I can avoid the counter coming into the second flight?
Yes, if you can check in online for your British Airways flight online certainly do so.
Can anyone tell me the best way to get from terminal 2E to terminal 2F .Have a short connection time and last time we didn't make it .Do you have to go through passport control again or did we make a mistake last time.
Where are you flying from and to?
Aberdeen to CDG then onto Malaga
You should have to go through passport control once.
That will be in CDG I presume , as that is where we have the problem , the queues were horrendous last time we were there .
We arrive on Friday morning on an international flight from Cincinnati on American Airlines. We have 1 hour before our flight to Florence on Air France Departs. Right now it looks like we will be transferring from 2A to this possible? What's the best way to do so?
American does not fly from Cincinnati to Paris. Please double check your reservation.
Sorry- I meant Charlotte (we start in Cincinnati and connect there).

Thoughts? Can we make it?
Realistically I don't think an hour is enough time, especially if you aren't able to check in for your Air France flight online.
Do you know if we need to go through passport control and/or security?

Yes, you will at least have to go through Schengen Entry passport control and possibly security.
How can i get from terminal 2e at CDG Paris airport to terminal 1 ?
I have 3 hours connection, is that enough time?
They are connected outside security by the CDGVAL train. 3 hours should be just enough time.
