  • Vienna-CDG-Detroit Connection
    Jul 26, 2016
I am flying Austrian VIE-CDG then Delta CDG-DTW with a legal connection of 1 hr 20 minutes. Is that enough time to connect? I've been told two security checks plus customs and don't see how that will work

If both tickets are on the same reservation then you just have to go through Schengen Exit Passport control and to your gate.

  • 65 minute layover...enough time to connect?
    Jul 25, 2016
I am flying from Minneapolis to CDG at 8:35am and connect to a flight to Nice at 9:40am both on AF. Terminal 2E to 2F. Is 65 minutes enough time? We will be checking our luggage and assuming they will be checked through.

That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Connecting to TGV
    Jul 25, 2016
I'm arriving on AA at 7:30. My train leaves at 10. Is that enough time?

That should be just about enough time as long as you're talking about a TGV train that leaves directly from CDG.

I will be arriving in terminal 2A from Toronto. Then I will be departing from Terminal 2D non-Schengen. Will there be passport control or security?

Are your tickets on one reservation or two separate ones?

    one reservation

Then there is no passport control or security.

That's not true. You will have to go through security.

  • Layover enough time
    Jul 22, 2016
Hi, I'm flying Air France from Los Angeles to Charles de Gaulle, then from CDG to Vienna on separate tickets. The ticket to Vienna is with Austrian Airlines but operated by Air France. My layover time is 2:15. If I check a bag, can I make it on time?

Austrian and Air France are not codeshare partners, so please double check your reservation.

Nevermind, I stand correct, Austrian and Air France are codeshare partners. Yes, that should be enough time without a checked bag but I don't think you have enough time with a checked bag.

  • T1 to T3 - No checked Bags
    Jul 20, 2016
Would a connection time of 1 hour and 5 minutes be enough to go from T1 to T3 if I have no checked bags? I am flying in T1 CDG from Athens arriving at 12:30pm and catching a flight to Canada at T3 at 13:35pm.

Realistically no, that's not enough time. You will have to take the CDGVAL to Terminal 3, go through Schengen Exit passport control and security. Not enough time.

How about if I arrive at T1 from Athens at 11:10am, would 2 hours and 25 minutes be doable?

    Yes, that would help immensely.

Great!! thank you!! I appreciate your help.

  • Close connection
    Jul 31, 2016
We are ticketed on a delta flight from ATL to CDG, arriving terminal 2E at 6:10 am departing in AF flight ) code share with DL) departing at 7:15. from terminal 2F. One reservation number, hand carry on only, this is termed a "legal" connection. All good if weather cooperates! Do we just face passport control and taking transport to terminal 2F in this close connection?

Where are you flying out of Paris to?

    Flying to Budapest

With recent French events, will this close connection time be impossible?

    This is enough time.

Thank you! We are praying for good weather leaving Atlanta. We have printed out maps to assist in getting from 2E to 2F!

How did it workout ? I'm looking to do the same flight path but from Boston.

arriving in terminal 2A from Toronto, departing from terminal 1 to split croatia. do i go through security and/or passport control?

Yes, to change terminals you will have to go through Passport control and security.

  • How much time do you need to allow to transfer if seperate tickets
    Jul 8, 2016
What is the minimum amount of time between flights if they are booked on separate tickets and I have checked luggage? I will most likely be arriving Terminal 2E and departing Terminal 1

I would want at least 3 hours.

  • Air-TGV Train connections time -- how long should I allow?
    Jul 6, 2016
I'm a US citizen, arriving CDG on Air France flight (hand luggage only) at 11:30 a.m. -- and TGV I want from Paris Airport terminal leaves at 12:45 a.m. Is that enough time to make connection?

It's not impossible, especially without checked bags.

I want to know how to reach suite novotel Cdg nord 2 shuttle service from terminal 1

Take the CDGVAL to Terminal 2.

  • Connecting from terminal 2A to 1
    Jul 4, 2016
Hello, I am flying into CDG terminal 2A on Air Canada from Toronto in Canada, and I have a connecting flight to Frankfurt on Lufthansa, which departs from terminal 1. The time between connection is 2 hours and 30 mins. Would this be a realistically doable connection? Both flights are on one ticket btw.

I don't think it's impossible if the Air Canada flight is on-time. All you should have to do is go through passport control, take the CDGVAL to T1 and go through security.

  • Minimum Transfer time between terminals
    Jul 4, 2016
I am arriving at CDG (Terminal 2A) from LHR on BA in the afternoon. Have a connecting QR flight from Terminal 1. Time between flights is 3h30m. Is it enough time to clear immigration, collect bags, transfer to Terminal 1 and check in again. Have Schengen Visa and am travelling Business, if this helps.

That should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.

  • Flight change
    Jul 4, 2016
I'm flying in2 Terminal 2 and I have a flight booked with another airline from terminal 1. I will have 1.5 hours with only hand luggage, will I make it over in time?

    I really don't think that's enough time.

  • FlyBE Transfer Check-in Counter at Terminal 2E
    Jul 4, 2016
I'm planning to travel from PVG to CDG (Terminal 2E) by Air France, and then 5 hrs later transfer from CDG to SOU (Terminal 2E) by FlyBE with seperated tickets. The problem is that FlyBE does not provide web check-in option at CDG. So is it possible to get my boarding pass at transfer check-in counter in Terminal 2E (if transfer check-in counter exists)?

    Hand carry luggage only.

No schengen visa. UK visa only.

Yes, FlyBE should have a transfer desk in 2E.
