I am traveling on Air France from Los Angeles to Athens, Gr with a connection in CDG. I land in terminal 2E and depart from 2F. I have a i hour and 40 min. connection and I'm wondering if this will be enough time. Do I have to go through passport control and what is the easiest and fastest way to get from 2E to 2F.

Yes, that should be enough time. Yes, you will go through Passport control in Paris. Just follow the signs.

A group of us are traveling to CDG direct from USA and then need to catch another flight on a separate airline to Venice two hours later. Is it possible to check our luggage through to Venice and then just go through passport control to get to our next flight?

If you purchase all your tickets on the same reservation it is possible.

Our tickets were made separately and with different airlines. Does that change things?

Then you will have to claim your bags from the first airline and bring them to the second. What airlines are you flying?

We are flying Air France from the U.S. and then EasyJet flight to Venice.

Then yes, you will arrive in Terminal 2E, go through Schengen passport control, claim your bags, then follow signs to Terminal 2D and re-check your bags with EasyJet and go through security. 2 hours is the bare minimum to do this assuming everything goes smoothly.

Thank you for your responses! If we have only carryons, would we be able to just go from Terminal 2E to 2D without going through passport control?

You have to go through passport control in Paris as you will be entering the Schengen zone there.

I fly in to Terminal 1/3 on AF 17. I arrive at 7:50am and need to get a connecting flight to Basel from Terminal 2G at 8:55am. Do you have advice about how to get from terminal to terminal- I dont want to have to go through customs and immigration if possible, and am concerned about the time.

If you are transferring between terminals you will have to go through Immigration. Terminal 2 is connected to Terminal 1 by the CDGVAL.

I traveling with my dog in the baggage area on July 19 in the flight AF475 from Panama and departing to Beirut in the flight AF562. I arrive at the terminal 2E, but no information on the departure gate. Since it is a long flight I need to find the nearest pet relief area before continuing to Beirut. Please advice where is the nearest pet relief area.

We are US citizens leaving the US for London for 5 days, then on to Paris for 4 days. We will go thru customs in London, but will we have to go thru customs again in Paris?

You will go through Passport control when you go to Paris either at the Paris airport (if flying), on the train (if taking the train), or at the ferry dock (if taking a ferry).

Hello - I am arriving 27 April in Paris from Nice via Air France at 8:45am and am departing for JFK via American Airlines at 11am. Will this allow enough time? Thank you!

Were your tickets purchased together or separately? Will you have checked bags?

One ticket was purchased via Air France and the other was separately purchased from American Airlines. I will not have checked bags. How do I connect between the terminals? Thank you!

Just follow signs to Terminal 2A.

I will be travelling from TNR via CDG to the US with my 2 dogs (checked baggage or manifest cargo). I was informed that the pet transit zone is closed at present. When will it reopen? And how will pet transit be handled, if this zone is closed? Thanks for your reply!

How much time to clear customs and catch the TGV to Tours? I arrive at 8:35 am, want to catch a 10:15 am train.

That should be possible if your flight is on-time.

I am flying in to CDG from Atlanta Georgia USA, ATL, and have a connecting flight to Rome, FCO, through a different airline. I have 1.5hours between flights. Is this enough to go through passport control and get to my next flight? Will I also have to go through security again?

Yes, that should be enough time. You probably will have to go through security again, but security is much less time consuming at European airports.

Will the CDG process the arrival of my dog in hold on Saturday or Sunday? If so, is there an extra charge?

You will have to contact them.
