Flying from San Francisco to Paris to Montpelier, where do I go through customs

You will go through Schengen immigration in Paris as you pass from the Schengen to non-schengen side of the airport. You however won't claim your bags until you get to Montpelier.

Arriving from Detroit at 2E transferring planes to Athens at 2F. Do I need to go thru customs again. Can I walk to next terminal--how long to walk. How do I get there. Have 1 hr 50 min. to accomplish.

At CDG , T2E has a new pedestrian path to T2F - no customs needed.

  • Arriving with a dog in cabin

Does anyone know the procedure to follow when you arrive with a dog in cabin? Is there a specific customs officer or department that I need to see upon arrival? We arrive on a wednesday at 7.55pm so its after the main quarantine office closes, but they said they deal with commercial outgoing flights only, so I'm not sure where we are supposed to go or what we are supposed to do upon arrival.

CDG has a special site for this: open http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Procedure-practical-information/Need-help/passenger-travelling-with-pet/ If you can't open directly, open: http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/home, then click on Formalities, on 'Passenger traveling with a pet'.

  • Arrival waiting area

My grandmother will be arriving at paris cdg terminal 2a at 6am but I'm coming from train from holland to pick her up at 12pm so there is a 6 hour waiting period in between . She doesn't speak English and won't have a mobile so where is a good waiting point for me to pick her up? are there chairs at the arrival right outside the 2a arrival hall where she can sit and wait?

six hours is a long time to wait in a small terminal with limited amenities (pharmacy, fast-food, convenience store) - with only the Roissybus directly connecting to Paris Opera. The meeting point is near the central entranc/exit, outside the baggage claim. When arriving at Paris, take the RER Rapid TGV train, taking 45 mins to the Airport. For an terminal maps open http://www.aeroportsdeparis.fr/ADP/en-GB/Passagers/Access-maps-car-parks/Paris-CDG/maps/.

i am travelling air france from sfo to cdg with my dog in the hold. where do i pick up the dog when we arrive at cdg? can i let her out of crate before customs so she can pee? its such a long flight, i want to be sure i get to her right away. ty.

    1. You need to contact your airline as to where to pick up your pet - it will most likely on arrival have to go through quarantine inspection first. 2. While SFO has pet relief areas (now mandatory at US Airports) at T1 at Courtyard 1; at T2 at Couryard 3; at T3 at Courtyard 4 - CDG may not have them - at least they are not listed.
