I am flying from Columbus Ohio in to PHL and then on to Dublin IE. I only have 1hr 14 mins between flights. Is this enough time to swap terminals. The entire flight is US Airways so no bag collection should be required.

Yes, that should be enough time. All terminals at PHL are connected inside security.

Hi, So, I'm traveling from Toronto to PHL then on to BWI (I have a layover of 1 hr 21 min) I land in terminal B in PHL (8:24a) then have to get to terminal F by 9:30a. 1) Do I have to reclaim/recheck my luggage? 2) Do I have to go through security again? 3) Will I have enough time? Both flights are US Airways.

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in PHL is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. Terminal F is connected to the other terminals inside security by a shuttle bus. You should have enough time.

Yes, in Philadelphia you will have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the transfer desk, then go through security and to your departure gate.

HI there, I am Flying to toronto from Dublin via PHL. Both of my flights are operated by US airways. Will I have to pick up my Checked baggage? Or will the bags be transferred for me from one plane to The next? Thanks'

You will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. Your arrival into Philadelphia will be like a domestic flight. All you have to do in Philadelphia is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You will go through Canadian immigration when you get to Toronto.

My parents are flying from India to Raleigh via British Airways with connection flight to London to PHA and PHA to RDU via US Airways. Do they need to claim the baggage and recheck them after customs at PHA? If so, do they recheck at the US airways Counter or will there be a quick re-check desk past the customs?

You will claim your baggage after going through US Immigration in Philadelphia, Then you will go through US Customs, then there will be a US Airways/American Airlines re-check desk. Then you will go up to the departure level, through security, and to your departure gate.

  • Luggage Question

I am flying from ROC to PHL for an international flight from PHL to VEN. Do I need to get my luggage when we land in PHL and bring it to International or does the airline do it

Assuming both of your flights on US Airways, you do not have to do anything with your baggage in PHL on your way out of the USA.

If she arrives by United Airlines, she will arrive at Terminal C or B; All other international arrivals use Terminal B. Terminal A is for all domestic airlines (United's are in both A & C). While United shuttles between gates of TC & TA, the Airtrain makes its round in the unsecured areas of the terminal, with need to go through security check to reach connecting gates. If arriving at early morning or evening rush hours, transfer time is not enough, as all international arrivals need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance & re-check-in their bags.

She will arrive in B or C and depart from B.

Thanks if she is on UA will they book her on another flight?

Yes, if she misses her connection in EWR they will rebook her. United has lots of flights from EWR to LAX.
