If I arrive at Concourse A West can I walk to Terminal F while remaining in secured space? And about how long does it take to make that walk?
In January my daughter will be travelling the following route from the UK:
Aberdeen to Heathrow to Philly then onwards to Burlington, Vermont. She has not travelled long haul before. She is travelling on one ticket and her baggage should be checked straight through from Aberdeen to Burlington.
Flight nos are:
BA0067 from Heathrow to PHL, arriving Terminal A, at 1555 hrs, then
AA4597 (American Eagle), departing Terminal (?unknown) at 2045
We have allowed plenty time to make the connection but are unsure how she gets from one terminal to another and/or if she will have to clear customs/security when she arrives at PHL?
Any advice appreciated.
In Philadelphia she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and then walk to Terminal C where her flight to Burlington will depart.
Thank you, a big help and very much appreciated.
I'm flying into Philly tomorrow from Albany, NY via AA. Only have 1hour and 15 minutes to catch my flight to Aruba. Do I need to go thru Customs when I get to Philly? I noticed my reservation states I need to change terminals but not sure what gate I land at and what terminal I need to go to catch my Aruba flight. Is the 1.25 hours enough time to go thru Customs ( if I have to) and change terminals?
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Philadelphia is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All Terminals and gates are connected inside security. You have enough time.
I am arriving from Burlington Vermont on AMERICAN EAGLE flight 4905 and I have to change terminals to connect to AMERICAN AIRLINES flight 2022 to fly to Fort Lauderdale. Which terminal do I land at and which terminal do I depart from and how long will it take. Thank you
You arrive in Terminal F and depart from Terminal A, B, or C.
Hi,

I am looking at flights from burlington to Tampa but the flight i found has a 43 mins connection in PHL... i find that VERY short. But never gone to this airport before.. any suggestion if i should take it ? Both Flights are on AA. Flight is in December.. therefore temperature might not help...

Thanks

Alex
It's possible, but it doesn't leave any time to spare.
Hi, I'm due to arrive into PHL at 13:30 on 19th Dec with AA. With a connecting flight to TPA also with AA departing at 15:25. Is this a long enough layover?
I forgot to say,I'm a uk national flying in from LHR
That is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Cheers mate.
I have only a 48-minute layover on 10/17/17 to get from gate B11 to gate F36. Is it better to walk or take the shuttle? I'm a fast walker. About how many minutes to walk?
It's about a 15 minute walk. I'd personally walk since you are a fast walker.
How long does it take to walk to terminal c from f? Is it easy to get there? Or should I take a bus?
It's about a 15 minute walk. I would personally walk.
I have an AA arriving from Dublin and need to catch a connecting AA flight to Los Angeles. I have a 1 hr 20 minute lay over. Is that enough time to get through immigration, customs, and security and make my connecting flight?
You pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Dublin. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Are 2 hours enough time when we arrive from Amsterdam and we want to take the flight to Orlando?
Yes, that is enough time if everything goes smoothly.
