    I am arriving from Charlotte NC on flight 1578 and will have 2 hours to connect with Flight 742 to Spain. Will I have to pass through security again? What terminals will I arrive on and depart from? Thanks!

    No, you won't have to go through security on the way to Spain and CLT only has one terminal.

    Sorry, thought you were connecting in CLT. The answer about security is still the same and your flight will probably arrive in B and depart from A - which are connected.

    Hi, never used Philadelphia before, will be flying in on US Express from La Guardia and have an hour to find US airways to Manchester England - is this do-able?!

    It's doable but you will have to hurry. You have to take a shuttle from the F-gates.

    Yikes, couldn't avoid US Air for PHX to Munich via PHL. Arrive May 18 flt 714 depart flt 716. Anyone know inbound terminal - outbound? I have an hour & 40 min. On my return from MUC June 7 flt 717( A west?) I have an hour & a half to get on flt 715 to PHX, will that be terminal F on my outbound? I know I have to clear immigration and recheck my bags. Any help would be appreciated. I have never used PHL that I can recall. Thanks!

    Only US Airways Express flights use Terminal F, so you will not have to go there as all your flights are mainline.

    How long will it take to get from Terminal B to F? I am on US Ariways flight and have 45 mins to get to terminal F. Will I have enough time

    It's tight but doable. You have to take the US Airways shuttle (which runs on the secure side). How long it exactly takes depends on how long you have to wait for the shuttle.

    The free US Airways shuttle at PHL runs between Terminals B/C, at gate C16,to gate F14, no need to go through security check. Terminal B/C has B & C gates on opposite sides, connected by a mall. Your time should suffice.

    Hi. I will fly from Paris to Hartford (BDL) connecting in PHL (all flights with US Airways) on Tuesday, 30 april. I assume I will arrive in A West and depart from C. My layover time is 1 hour 55 minutes. Is it enough time to get the connection and do I need to claim my baggage. Thank you!

    On the way from Paris, you will have to claim your baggage in PHL in immigration then re-check it with US Airways after customs. You should have enough time.

    US Airways runs a shuttle from gate C16 to terminal F. You need to take that. http://www.phl.org/passengerinfo/Pages/shuttle.aspx

  • connection from Terminal F to A

    I am on a flight from Philly to Munich. I arrive from ILM at Terminal F and will need to get to Terminal A for a flight that leaves 1.30 hrs later. There seems to be quite a bit of distance from F to A, will I make it on time? Also do I need to pick up my checked luggage on arrival at terminal F?

    There's a shuttle you can take from F. You will not have to claim baggage checked at the counter in ILM, only any gate-checked baggage.

    Maybe 15 mins, it's a direct bus and they go pretty frequently.

    Hi. I will fly from Frankfurt to Newburgh (SWF) connecting in PHL with US Airways on Saturday, 20 July. I assume I will arrive in A West and depart from F. Can I take the shuttle without going through security again or can I also walk the whole way? My layover time is over 5 hours. Thank you!

    Since you're an international arrival you'll have to go through immigration and security again in PHL. You'll probably want to go back through security in Terminal A, then take the shuttle over to F (on the secure side) when you're ready.

    At PHL, after passport check, picking up bag, going through customs clearance and re-checking in your bag, take the shuttle bus to Terminal F, where it arrives at gate F14 - no need for security check. TF has Concourses 1 with gates F1-F9, Concourse 3 with gates F24-39, and Concourse 2 with gates F10-23. There is also a US Airways Club in the secured area. You have plenty of time to each & shop, if you want to.

  • connecting from terminal A to B

    Hi, I am traveling from Paris to San Fransisco via PHL. I arrive in terminal A and depart from Terminal B for San Fransisco and the connection time is 2 hours. Would be enough time to make the transit? Moreover do I need to reclaim my baggage in PHL and check it in again for the San Fransisco flight? Both flights are with US airways.

    Yes, you will have to claim your bags in immigration and then re-check them with US Airways after you exit from customs. That should be enough time.

    They will clear US Immigration in Ireland, so they won't be coming through customs. Arrivals from Ireland are handled like regular domestic flights

    Hi, I am traveling from Dublin to Las Vegas via PHL, i will fly into terminal A - and depart from Terminal B for vegas the connection time is 2 hours .... can I walk or is it a bus journal between terminals is 2 hours adequate?

    You have enough time if you arrive from a domestic flight, in which case you will arrive & depart from Terminal A-East; if arriving on an international flight you would arrive in Terminal A-West, go through passport check & customs clearance and proceed through security check to your connecting Terminal A-East (transfer time would then be very tight.

    I land in terminal F and have to go to terminal B. I understand I can take a shuttle bus to terminal C, and then walk to terminal B. Will I have to go through security? Also I only have an hour and 10 minutes. Is that enough time to make my connecting flight?

    On arrival at Terminal F, The US Airways shuttle bus leaves at gate F14 and arrives at gate C16 - no security check is necessary. While transfer may take up to half an hour you have plenty of time!
