Hello, In March on the 7th I’m suppose to go to Switzerland till the 17th have’nt made reservations yet. I live in Florence South Carolina. I think the nearest airport is Myrtel Beach; So, I
Would fly to Philadelphia

Hello, flying from Myrtel. Beach to Philadelphia’s overseas airport, then get a flight to Switzerland, on the 7th till the 17. Could you tell me how to go about this please.? For Switzerland find out how much is first class as oppose to a regular flight.? Thank you very much.

You have to ask a travel agent or go to an airline website about flight costs. This is, an independent airport information website. There is an airport in Florence, SC (FLO) but it only has flights to Charlotte. Myrtle Beach (MYR) and Columbia (CAE) are about the same distance from Florence if you don't want to fly into Florence. The advantage of flying into CAE is that Swiss Airlines partner United flies there, so you could fly Swiss from Zurich to Chicago or Washington DC and then on United to Columbia all on one reservation purchased through Swiss. However, that might be more expensive than one on American to MYR.
Thank you for responding so soon. I think I didn't explain clearly. My granddaughter & her husband made reservation & paid on Two round trip flights to Switzerland for 325.00 each; from N Y to Switzland, none stop. I live in Florence SC and I know about the airport in Myrtel Beach goes to Philadelphia,.Would I be able to Fly to philly to the overseas airport and get a flight to Switzerland none stop? Or, should I find a flight to go from Mrytel Beach to NY and catch the same flight they taking if I can. They going from March the 7th till March the 17. I would like to be on the same flight. Thanks again. PS.I really want to fly to Switerland first class; have to get prices for a senior citizen I’m 66
Arriving in Philadelphia from Athens. I have 1 hour 55 mins. to connect to Miami. Do I get my luggage, go through customs and still have time for my connection or do I go through customs/luggage in Miami? All American Airlines.
In Philadelphia you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I have a 53 minute layover in PHL from Indianapolis, is that enough time for me to get from point a to point b?
Yes, you can walk between any two gates in that time.
I arrive at gate F11 and need to get to B4. I only have 51 minutes to get to my connecting flight. Do I have enough time? Should I walk or shuttle bus? I'm a fast walker. LOL This will be on Sat mid morning flight.
If you're a fast walker then I would walk.
I am arriving into Philadelphia airport this evening and have one hour to get from terminal F to terminal C. Can you tell me the easiest and quickest way to get from Terminal F (Gate F38) to Terminal C (Gate C25) while staying in secured area so we don't have to go back through security?
You can take the shuttle or walk. Both keep you inside the secure area. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be arriving from Albany, NY Terminal F and only have 50 mins to get to terminal B for flight to Indianapolis. Is it enough time to walk from one terminal to the next for a senior citizen? and how do you get there (B) from here (F)?
You can walk or take a shuttle to C and then walk to B. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be arriving into PHIL Airport from Grand Rapids Mi on flight American Airlines 4895 at 9:51AM which I see is Terminal F and have a connecting flight American Airlines 805 out of Phil at 10:40Am which is 51 minutes leaving from Terminal A to Cancun. Should I walk or take the shuttle? Thanks
You could do either. I would probably take the shuttle.
If I arrive at Concourse A West can I walk to Terminal F while remaining in secured space? And about how long does it take to make that walk?
Yes, you can walk or take the shuttle if your arrival is domestic all inside security. It's a 15-20 minute walk, the shuttle is slightly faster.
In January my daughter will be travelling the following route from the UK:
Aberdeen to Heathrow to Philly then onwards to Burlington, Vermont. She has not travelled long haul before. She is travelling on one ticket and her baggage should be checked straight through from Aberdeen to Burlington.
Flight nos are:
BA0067 from Heathrow to PHL, arriving Terminal A, at 1555 hrs, then
AA4597 (American Eagle), departing Terminal (?unknown) at 2045
We have allowed plenty time to make the connection but are unsure how she gets from one terminal to another and/or if she will have to clear customs/security when she arrives at PHL?
Any advice appreciated.
In Philadelphia she will go through US Immigration, claim her bags, go through US Customs, re-check her bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and then walk to Terminal C where her flight to Burlington will depart.
Thank you, a big help and very much appreciated.
I'm flying into Philly tomorrow from Albany, NY via AA. Only have 1hour and 15 minutes to catch my flight to Aruba. Do I need to go thru Customs when I get to Philly? I noticed my reservation states I need to change terminals but not sure what gate I land at and what terminal I need to go to catch my Aruba flight. Is the 1.25 hours enough time to go thru Customs ( if I have to) and change terminals?
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Philadelphia is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. All Terminals and gates are connected inside security. You have enough time.
