Coming into either Term B or C and departing from F. If I decide to walk instead of taking the shuttle, do I stay on the secure side or will I have to go back through security?

Just take the shuttle. Terminal F is not connected to the other terminals inside security.

We arrive in Philidelphia at 12.15, (not sure of what terminal) from San Antonio and getting connecting flight at 1730 to Newburgh. Do we need to get our checked luggage or does it get put straight through? We have two kids with us so would like to be sort of organised. Thanks

No, you don't have to do anything with your luggage. You obviously have plenty of time. Your flight to Newburgh will depart from Terminal F, you will have to take a shuttle bus there. The shuttle runs inside security.

  • PHL to CLT transfer time for wheelchair passenger?

Scheduled arrival from YHZ at 8:15 am on 9/22. Depart for CLT @ 10:05 AM. Is this enough time to go through Customs and make connection? I am gate checking my own wheelchair and last of airplane.

Learned of pre-custom's screening at Halifax. This is great and timing/logistics no longer an issue.

Hi! My holiday company have only left me 70 minutes betwwen my flight arriving in from Florida and leaving for Manchester, UK. Is this enough time (both flights are with US Airways)?

Yes, all you have to do in Philadelphia is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

From Vegas I land at PHL at 18.55 (no terminal has been specified on my itinerary as yet), my connecting flight home to Manchester UK is at 21.00 Terminal A with only hand luggage. What are the steps I need to take once I arrive at PHL? Both flights are with US Airways. Thanks :)

All you have to do in PHL is walk from your arrival gate in Terminal A, B, or C to your departure gate in A. There is no US Customs when exiting the US.

I am flying from Punta Cana to PHL to Logan. I was wondering if my 1.5 hour layover in PHL will be enough time to clear security and customs? Does this give me enough time? I am flying US Airways. Also wondering what terminals I am traveling to? Which terminal do I get off and how far of a walk is it to the next terminal? Thank You!

It's barely enough time. You will arrive in Terminal A and depart from Terminal A, B, or C.

I called US Airways they said it should be enough time, we are coming in on a Monday evening at 6:41, will the airport be busy at this time? I am hoping it is enough time

The airport will be moderately busy at that time. If you miss your connection, US Airways has 9:15 PM an 10:45 PM flights to Boston that you likely could be rebooked on.

Hi myself and family are travelling from London Heathrow to Orlando (via US Airways) and connecting in Philadelphia. Do we need to go through customs/immigration and then collect 'checked in' luggage to recheck it in? Or will our luggage be automatically transferred to the connecting flight? We have been getting conflicting information regarding the luggage and I just want to be 100% sure before we travel on 23 August. It's our first connecting flight to USA, so want to lessen the stress....

Yes, in Philadelphia you will go through US Immigration, claim your baggage, go through US Customs, then re-check your bags at the re-check desk immediately after, then go through security and to your departure gate.

Many thanks for your speedy reply. In general how long would it take us to get through customs, collect baggage and re-check? We have about 2 hours between flights and will have 'airport assistance' and 'access to fast lanes'.

2 hours should be enough time.

  • Enough time to connect LAS Vegas-PHL-Boston

I have a US Airways flight LAS to BOS with checked bags. There is a stopover at PHL of 30 minutes to change aircraft for BOS. Luggage will be checked at LAS for BOS. Will there be sufficient time to exit first aircraft and join 2nd aircraft and will there be sufficient time for ground staff to transfer luggage to 2nd aircraft

It's possible, but it depends on your first flight being on-time, preferably early.

    Thank you Zap

  • Us airways- british airways layover time

Hi Is 1 hr transit time enough for us airways to british airways ? I am travelling from PHL to LHR. What are the possible terminals for british and us airways ?

It's enough time as long as the US Airways flight is domestic. US Airways uses terminals A, B, C, and F. British Airways uses Terminal A. All terminals are connected inside security.

My us airways flight is domestic..i will be travelling from columbus to phl to lhr. And there is one hour layover in phl to board british airways. I am a bit concerned about this but your response helped me plan myself. Thanks a ton.

I will be flying to Bali soon. The first leg of my flight is Ottawa to Philadelphia (arriving at Terminal F) and the second leg of my flight is Philadelphia (leaving from Terminal A). My question is "Do I have enough time?" (P.S. I do not have checked luggage - only carry-on).

Well, you didn't post how much time you have, so it's hard to tell you if you have enough time. But all you have to do is take a shuttle bus from Terminal F to Terminal A (it runs inside security).

My flight arriving in Philadelphia at 540am from Tel Aviv, connecting to Philadelphia Rail ZFV at 830, no checked in luggage only carry-on, will I have enough time after going thru immigration to my 830 train ride?

Yes, that should be plenty of time.

  • Transfer from Terminal C to Terminal F

We will be arriving in Term. C at 7:13 AM and have a connecting flight to Quebec out of Term F at 8:00 AM. Is this sufficient time to transfer? We we need to claim our luggage in Phil. and go through security and customs?

No, you do not go through US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. F is connected to the other terminals inside security by a shuttle bus. You have enough time if your first flight is on-time. You will go through Canadian immigration when you get to Quebec

Hi - I'm booked LAX-BRU via PHL with only 1 hr allotted for transfer, is this sufficient time considering I'm travelling with young children? Any tips is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Thanks. Can you also advise which terminal(s) I would be in for the arrival and departure? Much appreciated.

You will arrive in Terminal A, B, or C and depart from Terminal A. They're all connected by walkways inside security.
