How can I get terminal D from terminal B, out of the security area?

At PHL, you need to exit TD, walk over to Terminal B/C, which connects at the ticketing level to the food court and Concourse B.

I am arriving in Terminal B and departing Terminal A. How do I get from one to the other. I only have 40 min.

At PHL, transfer passengers do not need to re-enter security checks, as all but Terminal F are connected at post-security areas. You have enough time

I am arriving 6/10 at 3pm in terminal C...my daughter is departing at 6:35pm from terminal A is there a way I can get there without leaving the "secured" area? Once I leave I don't think I can get back in. i.e. you can do this from B to C terminals.

At PHL, all Termminals, except TF, are connected at post-security by moving walkways.

  • Please put my mind at rest.

Hi, I will be traveling with US Airways in July from Dublin to San Francisco. This involves a 2hr 5Min layover in Philadelphia. I believe, I will be arriving at Terminal A and departing from Terminal B. Both legs of my trip will be with US Airways. Immigration for the US is handled at Dublin Airport (Ireland). Does this mean that I will be able to head straight through Transfer to Terminal B for my flight, or will I have to retrieve my baggage, re-check it and go through security again? I am concerned that the transfer time allowed by US Airways in my booking might not be enough. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

As U.S. Customs clearance can be done at Dublin Airport, and you use only one airline, you will be able at PHL to go straight on to your connecting gate. Note that you will be arriving in PHL at TA-West terminal and need to get to Terminal B (gates B1-16) - moving walkway inside post-security will take you there. You have plenty of time.

Where do you board the shuttle bus at terminal F?

Shuttle buses depart outside of the Arrivals level / baggage claim. You can also connect to all other terminals using moving walkways - all terminals are connected at post-security areas, no need to go through security if using walkways.

Never been to PHL airport. WIll be arriving on USAir from FL, and departing on USAir flight to Europe. How far from domestic arrival area to international

US Airways serves Concourses B & C, U.S. Airways Express serves Concourse F, all concourses have corresponding gates (i.e., A17, B16). Look at your ticket for your arrival gate at PHL. Your departure will be at Concourse TA-West which serves all international flights. To get from the arriving concourse to TA-West, use the moving walkways (all at post-security).

  • Check Point

Do I have to pass a check point at Terminal A West if I come from a flight that arrived on Terminal B?

At PHL, Terminal A-West is the only terminal with US Immigration & Customs. Unless you have gone through US customs clearance by participating airports, you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tag should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Transfer passengers do not need to re-enter security checks, as all but Terminal F are connected at post-security areas.

At PHL, US Airways Express is in Terminal F, which has concourses 1 with gates F1-F9 & leads to the left to Concourse 3 with gates F24-F39, and to the right to Concourse 2 with gates F10-F23.

  • PHL Terminal F to A in 55 mins???

We are flying into PHL from Buffalo on US Airways Express into terminal F, then have a 55 min layover until we fly out to Punta Cana, DR. Likely out of terminal A... will 55 mins be enough time for this transfer? I know we won't have to go thru security again. Thanks

Distances between terminals at PHL can be long. A free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways runs between Terminal A and F. (Its departure most likely coincides with connecting scheduled flight). You should have enough time.

from terminal F to terminal A east in 40minutes?

How much time will be needed for imigration clearance , collection of luggage and to reach terminal B for Domestic flight ??

    1. You will be processed at TerminalA-West, where you go through possport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag (30-40 mins). Transfer passengers do not need to re-enter security checks. All Terminals, except TF, are connected at post-security areas. Allow for another 20 mins transfer time.

  • From Terminal F to Terminal A 1h50?

My son (16) will visit family, and the flight to Philadelphia (International to Domestic, terminal F to A) he booked contains a connection time of less than two hours. It is the first ti flight to the US, will this bring him in trouble? Carry-on Luggage only will be advisable I guess?

Terminal F with 3 concourses hass gates F1-9; F24-39 & F10-23. serves US Airways Express; Terminal A is divided into TA-West and TA-East. TA-East with gates A1-A13 serves mostly domestic flights and has gates A1-A13. A free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways runs between Terminal A and F.

If you fly out of Philadelphia on a Monday morning your wait times can be clock by a calendar. The lines stretch the length of the concourse. You'll need at least 90 mins for security.

Saw this today as I arrived at 4:30pm -- could not believe it, but the line stretched all the way down the concourse, along the people movers almost to the baggage claim escalators. WOW.
