I am going to go Toronto, Canada from Columbus,Ohio with American Airline on July 30. I have only 46 minutes layover time at PHL airport. And my mom can walk slow. I thought to transfer American airline to American airline, it might be next to each other. But I forgot I go to the Toronto Canada which is different country. So do i can not make it in 46minites to transfer?
There is no US Customs when leaving the US. All you have to do in Philadelphia is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am flying tomorrow from Frankfurt Germany to Philadelphia with 2 kids. Does anyone know when I go through customs, will I have to get my luggage and recheck it? I have a connecting flight 2 hrs after landing. I just need to be mentally prepared because its a lot of stuff to haul.
In Philadelphia you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have enough time.
I too will be traveling through Philly from Glasgow with two kids and 3 checked bags, with 2 hour lay over. I see from other posts that there can be a delay going through Customs--or is it a regular occurrence?? DOnt ant to spend ettra time at PHL.
I am a grandmother traveling with my adult daughter and her 2 children ages 1 and 3. We arrive 8/7/17 from PHX to PHI on American Airlines flight #1856. Our connecting flight is AA (American Eagle) Flight 4825 out of Terminal F. I do not know what terminal we land in but with 2 toddlers and 66 minutes layover I am concerned we may miss the connecting flight. Can you help with some information? Thank you - Lois (length of layover corrected)

You will arrive in terminal A, B, or C. You have plenty of time. AA has a shuttle bus from A and C to F inside security.
I posted my question twice because I put the incorrect layover time at PHI in my first post. The layover is 1 hour and 6 minutes. I don't know if we land at Terminal A,B,C,or D but we have to go to F with the two toddlers. So the layover is 66 minutes - is that enough time in your opinion? And how often is the shuttle running? Is it obvious how to find the shuttle? Thanks so much Zap - sorry to be a problem. Thanks - Lois
We are flying on AA from MIA on a Wednesday in late October, arrive at 5:02pm and have to make AA flight to Venice at 6:45pm - is this doable? Can Chang to a flight that gets in at 12:30, but don't relish a 6 hr layover...
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do in PHL on your way to Venice is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I'm arriving into PHL at 8.55am and planning to book the flight to BOS which depart at 10.27am. is there any possibility the make it? coz if i miss this flight, i may have to wait for the next flight in the evening after waiting in Doha for 20hrs.
It's possible if everything goes smoothly. The Next flight from PHL to Boston will not be in the evening. AA has 7 flights to Boston after their 10:30ish flight.
