Hi, arriving from San Juan in Puerto Rico, changing in PHL to flight to London. We have 60 minuts. Is it enough time? Is there a passport control? Thanks Jan
There is no US Immigration when leaving the US and flights from Puerto Rico to the Mainland are considered domestic flights, so all you have to do in PHL is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
We're supposed to fly from Orlando into terminal B then transfer to terminal A to catch our flight back to the UK with 1 hour between the flights (our original return flights got changed by the airline). . Will this be enough time? How quickly can we get from one gate to the other?
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate which shouldn't take more than 15 minutes.
I will be arriving from FRA at terminal A @ 1:20 and leaving out of terminal B at 3:20 do I have enough time and what are steps for customs
Once you get off the plane you will proceed directly to passport control where you will most likely use the automated kiosks to check-in to the United States. After you get cleared, you will pick up your bags and proceed to customs/declaration. You will then need to re-check your bags; since you are leaving from Terminal B, you can check them at any AA counter, which is also located in Terminal A. After you re-check your bags, you will need to pass through TSA and proceed to your gate. You can pass through any TSA check-point to get to your gate.
I have a flight that departs around 1pm on a Sunday out of A-East. I have pre-check and will be checking a bag. How busy is this airport usually at that time, and how early do I really need to show up? Is it really necessary to get there 2 hours before?
It's moderately busy at that time. If it's a domestic flight 90 minutes is probably sufficient with Pre-Check.
Hi. Flying back to Manchester in August. We've got 1hr 20 ish between flights to get from terminal C to A. Is this going to be a massive rush? Cheers
No, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
So I won't have to pick up luggage and re-check it in?
As long as your bags are tagged for your final destination and are on the same airline, you will not have to re-check them. Being that you are arriving at terminal C which is American Airlines, and leaving from Terminal A which is mostly American Airlines, it sounds like you should be good.
