Is it short and easy to connect phl american to american eagle PHL to Portland Maine???

It is not a terribly difficult connection. You will arrive at either Terminal A, B, or C, and will take a shuttle bus to Terminal F for your American Eagle flight. The two shuttle stations are located at gates A1 and C1. F you have 40 or more minutes, you will have no issues, barring a delay.

Yes, that should be a fairly easy connection. There's no need to post the same question twice.

  • Terminal A to Terminal E

Later this year I will be arriving on an international flight into Terminal A. I need to catch a connecting flight on Frontier Airlines in Terminal E. These flights are booked on two separate tickets and I have five hours to make the connections which should be enough time. I know I will have to go through customs and then security again. What is the best way to get from Terminal A to the ticketing desk in Terminal E, with my baggage?

The only way is to walk along the curbfront outside the terminals.

Hi, I'm a UK citizen and will be coming home from Bermuda through PHL with a connection to Heathrow (return flight, I go out direct) will I have to go through USA security and collect my bag as if I was staying in the USA and then go back through check-in as if I were a new passenger? Thanks. Never done it this way before.

In Bermuda you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs. In Philadelphia all you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

  • 65 Minute Connection to Canada

Hi there. I will be flying from Portland, ME through PHL to YYZ (Canada). My itinerary mentioned it would be a terminal change. Do you know what terminal I will have to switch to? Is 65min sufficient time to catch the bus and make it to the next terminal? I will not be checking any bags. Thanks!

There may or may not be a terminal change, your flights could use Terminals B, C, or F. 65 minutes is enough time.

I hope to fly into Philadelphia early morning and take a flight to Lax. I will use the same airline. How much time should I allow so I do not miss my flight especially if we end up sitting after landing.

Where are you flying into Philadelphia from?

I am flying from Avoca (Scranton Wilkes Barre) hopefully on a 6 am flight and want to allow plenty of time to catch a flight to LAX. I would rather wait in the airport than miss my connection. How much time would you allow. I have not purchased my ticket yet until I have an idea of the time needed.

Anything over an hour should be more than sufficient.

  • rechecking claimed baggage

My flight arrives at TF and I will have to claim my bag, then get to TA to recheck my bag with British Airways. Never had to do this before and really need some help with the logistics. Until today I thought my AA flight would land at B or C. I'm on two different itineraries and AA has told me I can not check my bag all the way through, but will have to claim and check it back in again.

You'll have to claim your bag in the Terminal F baggage claim and go up to the departure level and carry it to Terminal A along the curbfront. It's a bit of a long walk but is doable.

  • F to A shuttle or walk

I'm still wondering about getting from F to A. I've read many posts with conflicting answers. Do the shuttles run on a regular basis? Is the walking access from F to E completed and easy access? What is the distance from F to A walking? THank you for responding. I seem to be having trouble with posting.

You have enough time to take the shuttle or walk. The Shuttles run almost constantly.

    Thanks

Is 34 minutes enough time to transfer from terminal C to Terminal A to catch a connecting flight?

That's just enough time if everything goes perfectly.

I've read a lot about airport shuttle is unreliable, and that you can't get from F to A without going through security. How often do shuttles run, and can you actually walk there and stay inside security? Thank you

Is 1hr 55min enough time between landing from an international flight in PHL, going through immigration and customs, getting bags, rechecking bags, going through security, and getting to Terminal B or C for an American Airlines flight? What is a good amount of time? Thanks.

If both tickets are on the same reservation then that is just enough time. If you're booking two separate reservations I'd want closer to 3 hours.

  • London to Las Vegas

Hi, We are looking at flying via Philadelphia from London to Las vegas. The flight get in to Terminal A at philadelphia and takes off again at Terminal 0. We have 2hr 30 change over time. Would this be enough time and is it easy to change terminals? Where would we clear customs/security-here or in LV? If we have booked it as one through ticket would our baggage go straight through to LV? Thanks for help.

You will not depart from terminal 0 as there is no terminal 0. You will depart from Terminal A, B, or C. Yes, that is enough time. In Philadelphia you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security, and to your departure gate. You have enough time.

Hello. I am flying tomorrow from Newark to Philly landing in F and have to catch my connecting flight in A to Portugal. Do I have to get my bag from baggage before I go to my other flight? Also I have a 52 minute layover. Is this enough to get from F to A?

No, you don't have to do anything with your bag. All you have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. There is a shuttle inside security from F to A. You have enough time if the first flight is on-time.

    Thank you

We are traveling from St Maarten to Newark NJ but we are connecting via PHL coming into Terminal A, leaving out of Terminal F will we have to claim luggage and go through customs and immigration PHL? Also we land at 7:07 and leave at 8:30.

Yes, in PHL you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and take the shuttle to Terminal F. This is a very difficult connection, bordering on impossible, unless the flight from St. Maarten is significantly early.

Hello, I will be flying from Toronto to Manchester England via. PHL. I will be going from F to A in PHL... Will I need to collect my bags again in PHL given that this is booked as one whole trip or will I just have to make my way from F to A as security screening will of been done in Toronto? Help appreciated!

No, you will pre-clear US Immigration and Customs in Toronto. All you have to do in Philadelphia is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
