We will be flying into Philadelphia airport from the Dominican Republic. Approximately how long will it take to walk from the international terminal to the domestic terminal
Domestic flights leave from every terminal at PHL. In PHL you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. You need 90 minutes minimum to do this.

I need to pickup my baggage from terminal A then head to terminal B for my next flight. Will I need to exit through customs and security and then take a shuttle or is it possible to pick up luggage and go through connections right away?

Thank you!
You will claim your bags, go through US Customs and then if your bags are tagged to your final destination, you can drop them right back off at the re-check desk, then go through security and talk to Terminal B.
I have 49 minute connection time on American between Terminal B and Terminal F. Can someone please tell me how often the shuttle buses run? Walk time between Terminals? Thanks!!
You can walk it in about 15-20 minutes. The shuttles run almost constantly.
Thank you.
I will have an hour connection at PHL, coming from Charlotte arriving at Terminal C, and going to Montreal departing from Terminal F. Is that enough time?
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I will be arriving at 11:52 from Norfolk And depart at 1:00. I plan on having a rolling carry on. It states I change terminals. Is that enough time, even if overheads are full and they have to check my bag at gate? I have never checked my bag at gate, so I do not know if it transfers or if I have to wait for it to get unloaded. Thanks for your help.
If you have to gate check your bag will be checked to your final destination unless it is a regional flight where you get a bright colored tag. Ask the agent when you give over the bag and they will tell you. You have enough time regardless.
I am flying in from Lisbon on 8/16/17 arrival time is 2:55 On Briitish Airways/ American flight AA739 and have a connecting flight leaving phl going to Charlotte NC at 3:25 on American flight AA4137.
That is not enough time. The minimum international to domestic connection time is 90 minutes. You need to contact whoever you booked the ticket through to get it changed.
Hi, I'll arrive in PHL with a flight from Miami at 5.18 pm and I'll have to take the next flight to Venice at 6.45 pm. Will 1 hour and half time be enough to take my connection? Do I have to go through immigration or I can just go from one gate to the other? I'll fly with American Airlines.
Yes, that is enough time. There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. Just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Thank you so much!!!
We have 45 min. layover - is that enough time? And is this a shuttle or an airport train?

Thanks for the help!
Philadelphia doesn't have a Terminal 2 - that is probably your departure terminal from your first airport. There is a shuttle from A to F. Where are you coming from?
We are flying from San Diego on AA, arriving at 7:59 pm, leaving PHL at 8:45 pm on American Eagle/Piedmont Airlines. I believe this is their last flight out that night, and nothing the next day (Saturday)....that's why I am nervous about it - and I don't want to fly into any of the NY airports... thanks agin for your help!
One hour to connect - coming from Detroit, leaving on international flight to Manchester. Both flights American Airlines. Enough time? Best way to get from one gate/terminal to another?
Yes, that is enough time. Just walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
ZAP, we will be arriving in F and departing from A. How long does the shuttle take? I am concerned if we have any delay leaving Detroit.
One hour is plenty of time, the only shuttle available is between Terminal A and F, as well as C and F. So if your arriving flight is in B and your departing flight is in C, you will need to walk. However, going from terminal A to F is about a 20 minute walk. With that being said, the max amount of time to get from one terminal to the other is about 20 minutes, so one hour will be plenty assuming nothing is delayed.
So I'm already anxious about flying, but I need to know if I'm going to have enough time between my first flight, and my PHL international flight. This is through American Airlines.

I leave Minneapolis and land in Philadelphia at 7:36 PM, and my flight from PHL to Manchester UK departs at 9:00 PM that night.

Will my bags transfer directly to my next flight or directly to Manchester, so I don't have to grab them, and re-check them in? Will 1 hr. 24 m. be enough time for me to get from my incoming gate, to my destination gate? And which terminal will I arrive in, from Minneapolis, and which terminal will I leave PHL from, to Manchester?

Thank you for your time!
Yes, your bags will go straight through on the way to Manchester. You will arrive in Terminal A, B, or C and depart from A. All gates are connected inside security. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You have enough time.
Thank you so much. This really puts me at ease. Again, thank you for your time! :D
