Coming in usair from Clt on flt 1510 and leaving for YQB on usair 4030. What terminals

You will arrive in A, B, or C and depart from F. US Airways operates a shuttle bus that runs on the secure side between these terminals. Plan on about 30 mins for your connection.

  • Terminal A to F + security??
    Jul 23, 2013
Hi, I'm going from Shannon, Ireland to Newark Airport and I'm connecting in Philadelphia. I'm flying with US Airways. They have US Preclearance in Shannon so I won't have to go through immigration or customs or anything when I land in Philadelphia. The first plane gets into Philadelphia at 2:05pm in terminal A and the second leaves from terminal F at 4:05 pm, heading to Newark. So I was just wondering whether I'll have to go through security in Philadelpia and how long it will take to get from terminal A to terminal F?

If you take the US Airways shuttle bus you do not have to go through security. I estimate the connection will take about half an hour.

    Thanks so much!

  • Time from Terminal A to Terminal B
    Jul 22, 2013
I arrive in Philadelphia from Minneapolis at 5:15pm. My flight to Glasgow leaves at 6:45pm. Both are US Airways flights. How close are the terminals and is an hour and a half enough time?

They are very close - that is plenty of time.

  • Connection Terminal D to Terminal A
    Jul 22, 2013
I will be arriving United flight (from Houston) into terminal D at 5:39pm and need to connect to a 6:45pm US Air flight to Venice, Italy. What's the best way to get to Terminal A from D, how long will it take and can I avoid having to go back through security?

    1. If you booked your flight for both airlines on one ticket, your bags should be transferred (but make sure United & US Airways belong to different Alliances). 2. TD through TA are connected by moving walkways - no need to go through security check. One hour should suffice.

  • Spirit Airline
    Jul 21, 2013
The PHL terminal map says that Spirit airline is in Terminal A. Their is no Terminal A. Only Concourse A east and A west. So where should I go

You looked at the overview map of PHL; when clicking on 'Terminal A' on top, you get TA's map showing clearly gates 14-17 in the main terminal, and gates 18-26 at Concourse A West, and gates 1-13 at Concourse A East. Your boarding pass & the overhead screens will indicate flight & gate number.

  • do we have enough time
    Jul 17, 2013
we have 34 min connection time between two US Airways Express flights ...and not allowed to pick seats ahead of time...are we going to make this connection ?

Both flights will likely be in Terminal F. You should be OK if your first flight is on-time.

What terminal does US Air use in PHL?

A, B, C, and F (F is only used by US Airways Express)

  • I need your help.
    Jul 17, 2013
I will soon be traveling via US AIRWAYS from Dayton, Ohio to New York with a connecting flight at PHL. My question is do I have to change terminals and if so how long would it take and how?

Both of your flights will probably be in Terminal F.

call the airline and ask what size planes you'll be on. Small planes will go in and out of Terminal 7

    PHL doesn't have a "Terminal 7"

  • First Time Flyer Help
    Jul 9, 2013
Hello all, this is my first time flying and I will be coming in on Flight # 4273 around 7:14pm Us Airways. I will be getting off at Terminal F and I will be taking the shuttle bus to C16 to get to Terminal B I have an hour 33mins layover time until my flight takes off at 8:47pm, I know I don't have to go through security, so is it possible I can make it to from TERMINAL F TO TERMINAL C by shuttle bus and then get to Terminal B by foot in time before my flight takes off. I am hoping for the best experience due to this is my first time ever flying also I brought a backpack so I do not have to check in/ pick up any baggage.

Yes, your connection shouldn't take more than half an hour.

Thank you so much I really do appreciate your response :) I am glad there are people out there who can help. Once again thank you

  • Enough time to exit security?
    Jul 1, 2013
We will fly from phx to rome with a connect in Phl. The layover is about four hours. Would we have time to exit to the outside and renter thru security. Would like to get some sunshine before the long international flight. We will be. Flying business class.

Yeah, 4 hours will give you plenty of time. You won't have to head back through security until a little over an hour before your flight to Rome, since you'll already be checked in.

  • Meeting husband at SW baggage claim
    Jun 24, 2013
Hi all, We are flying to Philly this Friday to see family. My husband is flying in on Southwest, which I understand is Terminal E. I am on US Airways, which I found could be either Terminals A, B, or C (not an Express flight so not F). I have planned to meet him at Terminal E since he will be taking our "big suitcase" (no baggage fees on Southwest) and having my aunt pick us up by car there. Is this a walk I can make (from Terminal A, B, or C to E) or is there some sort of shuttle? i only see a shuttle going down to Terminal F and it doesn't seem to stop at E for you. Thank you,

Yes, you can walk to E.

  • International flight terminal
    Jun 13, 2013
Arriving US air from Columbus at Terminal C and I need to get to Munich departure at Terminal A. What is the best way to go about doing this?

You just walk, you can walk from C to A without having to go through security again.

  • International Transit

I have a friend coming on US Air from Germany connecting with US Air Express (Terminal F) for Toronto with limited knowledge of English language. He has two hours and 15 minutes to make it, if flight does not get delayed. I have read from others about the process and I am writing to him detailed instructions. Can someone please tell me exactly where in the baggage re-check is located after custom clearance in Terminal A. Also what will be the quickest way (escalator up or down? and where) for him to reach Gate A1 for the shuttle. I really appreciate help.

All international arrivals at PHL are processed in Terminal A-West (TA-West(which shares ticketing level with TA-East). From stepping off the plane until going through customs clearance, he will follow all other passengers: After going through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance - for baggage re-check follow signs to baggage re-check and to US Airways shuttle (easy to recognize). The US Airways shuttle leaves at gate A1, taking him to gate F14 of Terminal F, which hasConcourses 1 with gates F1-F9, Concourse 3 with gates F24-39, and Concourse 2 with gates F10-23. He has plenty of time for transfer.

    Thank you so much.

  • Arrival Term.l A - Departure Term F
    May 31, 2013
Hello everybody i will arrive on PHL Terminal A at June, 15th 13.55 and have to get my next flight to Cleveland on Terminal F at 15.45. Is this doable? What is the best way to get from A to F. Should i take this shuttle bus? Thank you very much!

You have enough time. Note, however, that if you are an international arrival at PHL, you will arrive at Terminal A-West where you go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and recheck-in your bags, before proceeding to Terminal F. Transfer from Terminal A-East/A-West via US Airways shuttle bus is at gate A1 to Terminal F, gate F14.

Is it sure that i have to re-check my baggage? My flight to PHL is US Airways and my connecting flight (to Cleveland) is also US Airways. Should the baggage not be transferred to my connecting flight? Maybe one more question to my flight back. I will arrive at PHL Terminal C and my connecting flight is departing from Terminal A in PHL. But i do onlöy have 1:00 hour time get my connecting flight at Terminal A. I think this will be too short. How is the baggage handled in this case (flight back)? Thank you.

When you arrive in the US from overseas you always have to claim your baggage, then go through customs and re-check. You haven't said if your first flight is international or not. If it's not then you don't have to worry about re-checking.

Sorry, i forgot to mention that i come in with an internatiomal flight from Germany. But on my way back i will arrive at PHL Terminal C coming from CLE and then depart from Terminal A back to Germany. That means that i do not have to recheck-in my luggage in PHL. So i think one hour should be enough time to get from Terminal C to A, isn't it?

Yes, on your way TO Germany you won't have to do anything with your baggage. An hour should be enough time.

  • Arriving from Greensboro on USAir
    May 19, 2013
We are departing for Barcelona. Our flight arrives at 4:29 from Greensboro and the flight to Barcelona departs at 6:25. My wife has limited mobility. Can we make he transfer from Terminal F to Terminal A? Do we have to go back through security?

No you do not have to go through security on the US Airways shuttle. You should request wheelchair service from US Airways.
