  • arrive terminal D, change to depart terminal F

if i arrive on USAir in Terminal D, but have to change plane leaving from terminal F, what gate do i go to to catch the shuttle bus, and do i have to go through security again?

At PHL, Terminal F is on the North side of the terminal complex - a distance from the other terminals. The US Airways shuttle only makes its runs to Terminal F from Gates C16 or A1. Therefore, you would have to take the bus to Terminal C's gate 16, then take the connector to Terminal D (gates D1-16).

US Airways does not use Terminal D. Terminal D is United, Air Canada, American, Alaska, and Delta.

  • Flying from Frankfurt to Montreal

Hi, my daughter and I will be flying to Montreal via Philadelphia from Frankfurt/Germany (flights 701 and 3984) on August 22. We will have a layover of one hour and 44 minutes. We will arrive in Philadelphia at gate A and depart for Montreal at gate F. What will be the customs and security procedures for us and will we be able to make it? I read some stories online about Philadelphia airport and am a bit worried. Thanks for your help.

You will clear immigration in Terminal A, claim your baggage, clear customs, and re-check your bags with US Airways. You'll then go back upstairs to go through security and then take the US Airways shuttle bus to Terminal F. You will have to hope your flight is on-time and hurry. However, if you do miss your connection, US Airways has two later flights to Montreal.

Help..my husband and I will be flying into terminal F. We must pickup our luggage and check in for Luthansa in terminal A. Being that my husband has respiratory problems can we take a cab to departures for terminal A? If not what other options do we have?

Why do you have to pick up your baggage? Did you purchase two separate tickets? If you do have to claim your baggage in F and take it to A, an alternative to a cab or walking would be the SEPTA train which has an E/F station and a Terminal A station. However, the train only runs once every 30 minutes. Additionally, there is no ground transportation in Terminal F, so you will have to walk to terminal E anyway. At that point it may be worth it to just continue on to A at whatever pace your husband can handle. If you did purchase your tickets on one reservation, your bags should be checked through to Lufthansa and you can take US Airways' shuttle bus on the secure side from F to A.

Please help guys if you can, flying into phl from dca with my parentsin Sept, 33mins connection time before onward flight. Im flying from dca with us airways via republic into phl and then with us airways from phl to dallas. we land phl 0856 and onward flight to dallas is 0933. I cant seem to find whether theres enough time despite airline saying it will be fine- its worrying me though. If anyone knows the airport, gates, connections etc Id be so grateful for your help!

If your first flight is on-time it should indeed be enough time. You can walk between your gates.

  • Seattle to JAX? How much time to Terminal F
    Jul 29, 2013

Hi! I have one hour from the time my flight arrives from Seattle (US Airway flight 76) in Philly, to get to Terminal F to fly on flight 3259 Airways Express. I will have a 2 year old and a stroller. Is there airport help to get me to Terminal F in time? What do you advise to help me get through the airport? I am a young mother, first time traveling with a child! Than you!

How much time do you have. US Airways has a shuttle that runs on the secure side from their other terminals to Terminal F. However, even though US Airways 3259 is a US Airways Express flight it does not depart from Terminal F, it usually departs from Terminal B it appears.

Coming in usair from Clt on flt 1510 and leaving for YQB on usair 4030. What terminals

You will arrive in A, B, or C and depart from F. US Airways operates a shuttle bus that runs on the secure side between these terminals. Plan on about 30 mins for your connection.

  • Terminal A to F + security??

Hi, I'm going from Shannon, Ireland to Newark Airport and I'm connecting in Philadelphia. I'm flying with US Airways. They have US Preclearance in Shannon so I won't have to go through immigration or customs or anything when I land in Philadelphia. The first plane gets into Philadelphia at 2:05pm in terminal A and the second leaves from terminal F at 4:05 pm, heading to Newark. So I was just wondering whether I'll have to go through security in Philadelpia and how long it will take to get from terminal A to terminal F?

If you take the US Airways shuttle bus you do not have to go through security. I estimate the connection will take about half an hour.

    Thanks so much!

I arrive in Philadelphia from Minneapolis at 5:15pm. My flight to Glasgow leaves at 6:45pm. Both are US Airways flights. How close are the terminals and is an hour and a half enough time?

They are very close - that is plenty of time.

  • Connection Terminal D to Terminal A

I will be arriving United flight (from Houston) into terminal D at 5:39pm and need to connect to a 6:45pm US Air flight to Venice, Italy. What's the best way to get to Terminal A from D, how long will it take and can I avoid having to go back through security?

    1. If you booked your flight for both airlines on one ticket, your bags should be transferred (but make sure United & US Airways belong to different Alliances). 2. TD through TA are connected by moving walkways - no need to go through security check. One hour should suffice.

The PHL terminal map says that Spirit airline is in Terminal A. Their is no Terminal A. Only Concourse A east and A west. So where should I go

You looked at the overview map of PHL; when clicking on 'Terminal A' on top, you get TA's map showing clearly gates 14-17 in the main terminal, and gates 18-26 at Concourse A West, and gates 1-13 at Concourse A East. Your boarding pass & the overhead screens will indicate flight & gate number.
