Hello, in a couple of weeks I am travelling from Glasgow to PHL, then PHL to Detroit, both with American airlines. Will I have to collect my bags or will they just get transferred onto my next plane? Also my ticket doesn't state which terminal I will arrive/depart from at PHL - do you have any idea which ones it will be? Thanks
You will arrive in A, go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate, which will be in A, B, or C.
Arrive in terminal F @ 4.43pm connection in Terminal B leaving @ 5:55pm - where is the connector from terminal F to E located? Is this the fastest way get to B? How much time should this take at a fast walk? If connecting flight is switched to Term A, where is the shuttle stop in Terminal F?
The connector is at the base of the terminal. It is a moderately long walk but doable. The shuttle stop is located obviously. You have enough time.
My son will be coming in from Barcelona on a Saturday in July at 4:00 pm on Finnair, operated by American Airline. He has connecting flight to Boston at 5:30 pm on American Airlines. Does he have to pick up his bags or can they be checked through and he goes through customs in Boston? and is that enough time to make his flight? This was booked by a student program and we did not have an option for a later plane!
In Philadelphia he will go through US Immigration, claim his bags, go through US Customs, re-check his bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to his departure gate. He has just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I fly into B13 and out A12 with only 37 minutes in between flights....Are these gates close to each other? Walking distance? Enough time?
That is enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I am arriving on an international flight from Germany and have a connecting flight to Orlando. Both flights are with American Airlines. My question is there a luggage drop off point for luggage after going through customs or do I have to go into the terminal to recheck my luggage for the connecting flight?
Yes, there is a desk right after customs.
Hey, how long will I need to get from A West through customs into B? Both flights are American Airlines.

I only have 1 hr and 55 minutes between flights.
You have enough time if everything goes smoothly.
Which terminal do I come into and which terminal do I leave from.
Thank you
You will arrive from A, B, or C, and depart from A.
I'm British and tomorrow I fly from London Heathrow into Terminal A at Philidelphia International and then (assuming there are no delays) have 2 hours and 10 minutes to get to a connection at Terminal F (Gate 38 I believe). I'll be flying with American Airlines.

Is this enough time? Also is the shuttle bus quicker than walking? I assume I'll need to clear customs/security before heading to Terminal F? Please help! Thanks.
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, I would go through security in Terminal A and then take the shuttle bus to F.
How long will it take to walk from Terminal F to Terminal B? Do you have to clear security at Terminal B?
It will take about 20 minutes. You do not have to go through security.
Does one have to go through security again with either of these?
All gates in PHL are connected inside security.
