our connection in PHL is 49, we land in terminal F and depart terminal B, can we make it?
Yes, that is possible if the first flight is on-time.
should we bus or walk?
You can do either. If you're fast walkers walk, if you're not, take the bus.
Need to connect from Terminal F To Terminal A to fly to Rome. I have 1 hr 35 min. connecting time. Is this enough time?
That is enough time. There is a bus from F to A that runs inside security.
Thank you
We're flying back form Paris on Delta and connecting to Atlanta and have 1 hr 20 mins to connect from international to domestic. We will have carry ons only and have Global Entry and Pre Check. Is 80 mins enolugh time to connect? Assuming we land at TErmial A and depart to Atlanta from Terminals D or E. Thanks!
With no checked bags and Global Entry, I think you have enough time if the flight from Paris is on-time.
I'm flying BA from Heathrow to Philadelphia and then AA to Greenville SC through. I have 1hr 45 mins from landing to my flight departing. Do I go through customs and will I have enough time?
Bob, yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, then go through security and to your departure gate. You have just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
traveling from Boston to Barcelona, with a 58minute layover in PHL, is that enough connection time?
Yes, all you have to do in Philadelphia is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate
thanks. about how long is the walk? all are AA flights.
It should be less than 10 minutes.
I will be travellling back from Barcelona in May and connecxting thru Philadelphia. The flight I am looking at only has a 2 hour layover before my last flight option home that evening. Will 2 hours be enough to clear and get us to our short flight to Louisville with checked luggage?
Yes, that should be enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I'm flying AA and I land from Chicago at 753a on a Thu and my connecting flight is 31 min later, at 8:24a, in the international terminal. Can I make it? I assume AA wouldn't serve this up as an option if it wasn't possible?
It's possible if the first flight is on-time but leaves no time to spare. PHL doesn't have an "International Terminal".
Ah, ok. Thanks! It only mentioned a terminal change so hopefully it's close and I can sit as close to the door as possible and just run.
You'll probably arrive in A or B and depart from A.
I arrive at PHL from LAX and have one hour to make a connection on American Eagle to Newport News. What type of transportation is available between terminals and how often does it run?
There is a bus from A to F. If you depart from Terminal F, you can take it, it runs very frequently.
Does the shuttle runs 24 hours?
It runs when there are flights. It stops after the last departure, probably around 11 PM or Midnight.
My husband and I are travelling in June from Punta Cana DR back home to Manchester England via Phil Apt. We have a 1h22mins transfer ttime. We are travelling all the way through on AA, so should be checked through all the way through. We have UK passports. Do we need to collect bags, go through US customs and then re-check bags etc? If so , do we have enough time - will flights be to/from same terminal.?We can run if we have to!!
Yo have to go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate. This is a very difficult connection. Yes, both flights will be in Terminal A.
Thanks for help!! Can you tell me why it is such a difficult connection if in the same terminal? Is there not a Fastrack for travellers in transit to connecting flights? I notice online news says that Pre-clearance will be available at Punta Cana apt in MAY 2017. We fly this route on July 03 2017..
Ooops! I got the transfer time incorrect - it is actually 2h 5 mins! Does that help us make it through customs etc etc and make our connecting flight or is it still too difficult? Thanks again!
I'm flying Manchester to Phili then on to Orlando both flights with AA. Landing in terminal A and departing from C.
Do I need to collect my bags ? Or just walk to my departure gate after immigration?
Yes, you will go through US Immigration, claim your bags, go through US Customs, re-check your bags at the re-check desk, go through security and to your departure gate.
I don't understand we have this same flight and we where told as it is a connection flight they move the baggage along??
You have to claim your bags to go through US Customs. That's the procedure. You will re-check them right afterwards.
We have a flight into Terminal F with a connection out of Terminal A-West. We only have 40 minutes for our layover. Is it faster to walk or take the shuttle?
If you are fast walkers, walk, if not, take the shuttle.
