im flying into philly from manchester on flight 735 and connecting to flight 191 in terminall b or c. i have 1 hour 40 mins to do this. is this enough.

Your US Airways flight today arrives at gate A23 at 4:20 pm. Gate A is in Terminal A-West, where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag. Your connecting flight 191 by US Airways leaves at gate B3 of Terminal B. Terminals A-West, A-East, B & C are connected at post-security via moving walkways. Your time is sufficient.

Hi Chrish Since im facing a similar situation soon (2hrs) could you let me know if you made it and was doable? thank you

Hi, we are flying from manchester to philadelphia on 27th sep and have a 2 hours 5 minuties changeover to get our flight to las vegas. will this be enough time?

    1. Make sure that the airline you use on your first leg of journey transfer bags to the connecting airline's flight - if not, you need to collect your bags and check them in with the other airline at their counter. 2. If you arrive at PHL from a domestic flight from Manchester MHT Airport (NH), you simply connect to your next departure gate. If you arrive at PHL from an international flight from Manchester MAH, England - you need to go through passport control, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag where indicated, before moving on to your connecting gate. 3. Open www.ifly.com/phl and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS; then stroll down to the detailed text to find how to make your connection. Either way you have enough time.

We are elderly and have trouble walking. How do we arrange help from security to our Delta airlines gate?

You need to call your airline that you will need transport stating flight number & departure time, or approach a Delta employee inside the terminal.

Hi We will be arriving on US735 from Manchester and then on to Orlando on US735. Can someone explain the procdure for me to do this as quickly as possible and gate numbers etc?

    1. You will arrive at Terminal A-West, where you need to go through passport check, retrieve checked bags, go through customs clearance and - if transferring to another flight - re-check-in bag (the tags should indicate layover and final destination Airport Codes). Count on 35-50 mins for this procedure. Thereafter, the free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways runs between Terminals A and F (A-West & A-East are connected and you will be directed by the shuttle bus outside. Allow at least 35-45 minutes to connecting terminal. At Terminal F you need to go through security check before proceeding to your gate: Concourse 1 with gates F1-F9, Concourse 3 with gates F24-39, and Concourse 2 with gates F10-23. Your ticket and/or the overhead screens should indicate your flight, gate number & departure time.

  • transfer from TC to TF

I'm a little worried about my transfer from TC to TF. Is the shuttle the only option and how ofter does it run? Do you have to go thru security at TF? I have a short layover 1hr. Any advise would be appreciated. Stressing out about missing my connection.

At PHL, Terminal D is connected to the Terminal TB/TC shopping area through a post-security walkway. Furthermore, shuttle buses take you from terminal to terminal, but you need to go through Security check at TF before proceeding to your gate. An hour layover will give you time for both options.

My wife and I am traveling on British Airways from London to Texas and will arrive in Philadephia and will transfer to American Airlines. I have 2 hrs and 5 minutes to connect with American Airlines. Is this enough time for this transfer? Thank you!

    1. Terminal A West serves all international flights, and American (AA) is in connected Terminal A East. 2. On arrival you need to go through passport check, retrieve your bags, go through customs clearance and re-check-in your bag (unless BA does not transfer bags to AA - make sure before departure - if not, you would need to check-in your bags at the AA counter) 3. Transfer passengers do not need to re-enter security checks, as all but Terminal F are connected at post-security areas. Simply follow signs to your connecting gate.

Thank you sujul12. From your comments, 2 hrs and 5 minutes should be enough time to make our connection. am I correct?

iHow fast can I get from terminal C to terminal F? I have a little less than 1 hour.

Terminals A, B, & C are connected. Terminals C & F at PHL are at different locations. A free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways, runs between Terminal A and F. TF (US Airways Express) has concourses 1 with gates F1-F9 leads to the left to Concourse 3 with gates F24-F39, and to the right to Concourse 2 with gates F10-F23. Allow at least 30 mins transfer between terminals. At TF you need to go through security before proceeding to your gate - hurry!

We are arriving in Terminal C and leaving from Terminal A. I sprained my ankle and will not be able to move that fast and the connecting flight leaves in an hour. Is there help getting to the terminal for me?

At PHL you arrive at the US Air Terminal, which has gates C16-31. Your departure depends on whether you take an international flight (TA-West - gates A1-26 & A17-A14) or a domestic flight (TA-East gates A1-A13). Moving walkways connect all terminals (other than TF) at post-security. Therefore, your transfer time will be sufficient, even at slow motion.

we are flying out of Bangor Me. arriving at Terminal F at 7:34 pm and expected to leave PHL at 8:25 pm Terminal A. Is this possible and where will we be going through customs.

As a domestic arrival at PHL you do not have to go through customs clearance. You simply take the shuttle bus operated by US Airways outside of Arrivals/ baggage claim to Terminal A (while all other terminals are connected, Terminal F is not). At Terminal A you need to go through security check and on to your gate. An hour should suffice.

My son and myself are travelling from Manchester , England to Philadelphia then transfering down to Tennessee at the end of July. All our flights are with US Airways however I am extremely anxious as the airline have given us 1 hr 50 mins to go collect bags clear customs and get to terminal F. Can you help put my mind at ease regarding this. With grateful thanks

You will arrive at PHL at TA-West terminal, where you need to go through passport check, pick up bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bags. Thereafter, exit the terminal and take the free shuttle bus, operated by US Airways, to Terminal F, where you will have to go through security check before continuing on to your connecting gate (TF has Concourse 1 with gates F1-9, leading to the left to Concourse 3 with gates F24-39 and to the right to Concourse 2 with gates F10-23. You have enough time for transfer.

Why is JAX losing southwest nonstop flights from PHL? Previous 2 hour flight now 4/6 hour flights; change of planes.

Arriving from Bussels(US airways) and have connecting flight to FLL( US airways) What is the procedure for the luggage?

At Brussels, when checking in make sure your luggage is tagged for all the airports with their codes. However, at PHL, as an international arrival in the US, you need to first go through passport check, pick up your bags, go through customs clearance and then re-check-in your bag. You will arrive at PHL in Terminal A-West (TA-West)& will depart from the same terminal if using US Airways; if using US Airways Express, you need to proceed to Terminal F (look at your ticket whether it states A or F gates (i.e., A13, F23). A free shuttle bus takes you from TA to TF. International transfers need to allow for at least 30 minutes for connecting to transfer gates.

Are closures expected due to the Storm

Indeed. Count on all airports at the eastern seaboard, as New York is closing all of its five Airports.
