flying southwest from sna connecting to southwest to ewr. is 60 min sufficient to make connection?

You arrive & depart at PHX Airport from Terminal 4, at C gates (C1-20). Just walk over to your connecting gate.

Is 50 minutes enough time to make a connection on a US Airways flight from PDX to another US Airways flight to SJO? Thanks!

At PHX you arrive at, and depart from, Terminal 4, B gates (anywhere between gates B1 & B22). You have plenty of time.

arrive terminal 2, depart terminal 4, united to usairways in 1 hour. can i make it. thanks

On arrival at T2 of PHX Airport you need to exit the terminal and catch the shuttle bus at the curb to T4 where you need to go through security checkpoint A for US Airways gates A1-A14 & A17-A30; or through security checkpoint B for US Airways gates B1-B14 - the overhead screens will indicate your gate number. No time to waste!

I am flying Southwest and see that it comes in at Terminal 4. I only have 35 minutes between flights. Will I have enough time? I don't hae the exact gates yet.

As you don't state whether you continue your flight with Southwest or another airline, you need to open www.ifly.com/phx and click on "Terminal Map" under QUICK LINKS, then scroll down to the detailed text, inlcuding transfers.

  • 110 min from Southwest to British?
    Aug 26, 2012

Labor Day Monday. Flying domestic to PHX on Southwest, arriving 5:30pm. My international flight on British Airways (both airlines in T4) leaves at 7:20pm, which means check-in closes at 6:20 and gates close at 7pm. Is this enough time to pick up my checked bags from Southwest baggage claim in T4, and head straight upstairs to BA international checkin?

Under normal circumstances you should easily be able to transfer from gate to gate within that given time. However, being Labor Day, there is always a chance of flight delays and long lines at check-in counters. While Southwest arrives at the C or D gates of Terminal 4, British Airways is using B gates (on your return after baggage pickup and BA check-in counter, head to 'Checkpoint B'. P.S. Are you sure Southwest does not automatically transfer your bags to your connecting British Airways flight?

No, Southwest doesn't interline with anyone. I would take an earlier flight on WN to make sure you make that conex.

You say check-in closes at 6:20. I am taking that flight tomorrow(8/26) and my document says that check-in closes at 5:20 (two hours before the flight). Does anyone know which is correct.

Arriving on southwest on aug 3rd from columbus ohio...40 minutes before flight on southwest to seattle. Any idea how long it will take to get on the plane to seattle...how close to arriving gate

You arrive at PHX at Terminal 4. Concourses C with gates C1-20 & D with gates D1-D8 are south of the main terminal, are next to each other and are both used by Southwest. Moving walkways are in both Concourses. 40 mins is sufficient.

Arriving at Terminal 4 and will be picking up rental car at Advantage Rent A Car. Is there ground transportation from T-4 to Advantage?

    Contact Advantage at (602) 252-4935 (or 800-777-5500).

  • 44 minutes between T4 and T2?
    Jul 21, 2012

I'm arriving at T4 from San Diego on US airway 58 and leaving also on US airway but at T2. On Saturday Aug 4th. However, I only have 44 mins in between. Is that enough time?

    1. Make sure that you indeed depart at PHX from T2 - as I only see US Airways listed in Terminal 4. 2. Terminal 4 has gates A1-A30, B1-B22; & D1-D8. Terminal 2 has gates 1-15. To change terminals, you must leave the secure area and catch the inter-terminal bus at the curb. The free PHX Airport Shuttle bus stops, on its way to economy parking lots, at each terminal, every 7 to 10 minutes. If you need to get to Terminal 2, you need, on arrival, go through security check before proceeding to your gate. (While Terminals 2 & 3 are connected by walkway, T4 is on the other side of Sky Harbor Road which divided these terminals.

US AIRWAYS does not fly from terminal 2! If your flying out on United, that is terminal 2. It is a 5 minute inter- terminal bus ride between them

first of all how do you get from term 2 to term 4 and how long does it take

At PHX T2 & T4 are on opposite sides. To change terminals, you must leave the secure area and catch the inter-terminal bus at the curb. The free PHX Airport Shuttle bus stops, on its way to economy parking lots, at each terminal, every 7 to 10 minutes.

Go to the SkyHarbor web site and you can get the information. All you will have to do is catch the shuttle, not a big deal at all.

  • connection with 32 minutes inbetween

I am arriving from Palm Spring to PHX(flight 2992 United airway at 1:02 pm) and leaving for Seattle (United Airway flight 75) at 1:35 with 32 minute between arrival and departure. Will that be enough time to change the plane ?

At PHX, you arrive and depart from Terminal 2 - you simply walk to your connecting gate. Your ticket and the overhead screens on arrival will indicate flight number, gate & departure time. You have enough time for transfer.

What is the fastest way between gate A7 and gate A23

At PHX, Terminal 4, level 3, Security checkpoint A leads to separate gateways with gates A1-14 and A17-30. On arrival, walk towards the security checkpoint, take moving walkway to the right and enter near Starbucks gate areas A15-30.

After going trough security checkpoint A at PHX, the gate area splits between gates A1-14 and A17-30 - follow signs.

We are flying from philadelphia to phoenix with a 55 min layover and then to lihue, it is all on US airways. Does anyone know if we will have enough time to catch 2nd flight....

At PHX, US Airways operates out off Terminal 4, which has at levl 3 Security checkpoints A, B C & D, leading to corresponding gates (i.e., gate A14, B22). Moving walkways connect all gateways. Look at your ticket and on arrival at overhead screens to find your gate number and time of departure. You have enough time.

Hi I am flying from ft. lauderdale to (phx) terminal 4 and my connecting flight is at terminal 2 to San Diego what is the easiest way to get from one terminal to the other

On arrival at DFW, you must exit the terminal and catch the inter-terminal bus at the curb. The free PHX Airport Shuttle bus stops, on its way to economy parking lots, at each of terminals T2, T3 & T4, every 7 to 10 minutes. (there is no walkway connection between T4 & T2)
