I booked my itinerary through united, both legs have UA flight numbers, so I'm pretty sure my checked bag will make it just fine, but I'm worried about me!
DEN to PHX "Flight operated by SKYWEST AIRLINES doing business as UNITED EXPRESS."

There is only an hour between the two. When I asked the United phone guy he said something along the lines of a special international line that wouldn't have me go through security again in PHX.
His English, however, wasn't spectacular and I am hoping you could give me more specifics on how this short hour will go for us, as I am expecting to land at terminal 2 and need to board at terminal 4.
Thanks in advance!
Looking to possibly do a connection in PHX from Costa Rica to Portland, OR with a 1:45 layover. Is that doable with customs, recheck bags, and security? (I assume I would have to recheck bags, correct?)

Arrive 12:50 PM 12/28, American. Depart 2:35 PM American
Will I have to pass through security again if my arrival flight is at an A gate and my connection is at a B gate? About how long does it take to get from A30 to B7?
You don't have to go through security. Every gate in Terminal 4 is connected inside security. You can get between those gates in 10-15 minutes.
Can you tell me if it is enough connection time if the AA flight arrives at 7.09AM and the Southwest flight departs at 8.50AM?
With no checked bags that's enough time if you check in online for your Southwest flight. With checked bags it's probably just enough time, but slightly risky.
Thank you. That's what I thought.
flying AA from san diego to phoenix then to costa rica with only an hour layover. Will I be able to make my connecting flight? This is going to be on Christmas day.
Yes, that is enough time if the first flight is on-time. All you have to do on the way to Costa Rica is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have an upcoming flight on America Eagle arriving at Phoenix with a change of planes to in the same terminal but different gate area with only 35 minutes to make the connection. Looks like it is all within the same security area but gates seem to be typically at the furthest end from each other as possible. Is it possible to make a connection from a high B gate to a high A gate in that time?
It is possible but it leaves no time to spare.
I have a connecting flight in Phoenix to Midland Tx. I arrive at 6:00 pm and my flight leaves at 6:40. Is that enough time to make my connecting flight. Do I have to pass security check again?
All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate if your first flight is domestic. That is just enough time.
I am travelling from El Paso to Vancouver via Phoenix on AA. I understand that my baggage will be checked all the way through. However, I only have a 45 min lay over in Phoenix and I would like to know if I will be required to clear through immigration / customs in Phoenix prior to boarding the flight to Vancouver? Thanks in advance.
There is no US Immigration or Customs when leaving the US. You will go through Canadian immigration and Customs when you get to Vancouver. You have enough time.
Arriving in PHX from Palm Springs with connecting flight to Mexico City -- both on American. Since I don't know the arrival and departure gates, will I make it to my 2nd flight leg with 34 minutes between flights?
Yes, it's possible but leaves not time to spare.
I have a connecting flight in late august from Dallas fort worth to phoenix, I have 1h39m both flights are American airlines will I have enough time?
Yes, that is plenty of time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
