I am arriving at terminal 2 gate 7 and only have one hour to get my bags, go through customs, and get to terminal 4 gate A5 How do I do it?
That's not reasonably possible. However, you don't have to go through customs as no International flights arrive in Terminal 2 and you don't have to go through US Customs when leaving the US. Where exactly are you flying from and to and on what airlines?
sorry, I am arriving at terminal 4 - american airlines from Cabo San Lucas connectiing to Philadelphia - also on american
OK, that's not quite as bad, but still very difficult, bordering on impossible.
We will take American Airline flight no. AA 1650 from Orlando and arrive PHX at 8:00 PM and depart PHX by same American Airline flight no. AA 1505 to Vancouver, Canada at 9:10 PM. AA 1650 is a US domestic flight but AA 1505 is an international flight. Are the arrival gate of AA 1605 and departure gate of AA 1505 in the same terminal? The stopover time is only 1 hour 10 minutes. Is this stopover time enough for us to catch AA 1505 on time?
Yes, that is enough time. Yes, both gates are in Terminal 4. All you have to do in Phoenix is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I have a 34 min connection from AA (terminal 4) to DL (terminal 3). Is this enough and do I have to go thru security again ? And why is this information so hard to find on the web?? Especially the security part?
Yes, you will have to go through security again. This connection is completely impossible. If you haven't already booked it, don't.
I'm flying from SJC to PHX on American, then taking an American regional jet to Roswell, NM (ROW). American says it's "American operated by SkyWest as American Eagle", but I'm not sure if that means the ROW flight would be taking off out of the same terminal in which the incoming flight landed, which I would assume is Terminal 4. I only have an hour on the connect, so I'm trying to see if I'll need to be sprinting it for this one to another terminal. On the surface, it looks like the same terminal, but not sure if these twice-removed scenarios actually have me taking off out of a commuter terminal.
Both flights will be in Terminal 4. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
I'm flying Denver to Las Vegas with a stop in Phoenix. I fly Frontier to Phoenix and then switch to Spirit for the flight to Vegas. My flight from Denver lands at 8:30PM and my Spirit flight leaves at 10:35PM. I know it's a short layover, so I need my flights to be on time. What have you heard about the reliability for Spirit and Frontier's timeliness, especially in the evening?
They both have very poor on-time performance, especially in the evening. I would be prepared to be stuck in Phoenix or drive to Las Vegas.
We are using Southwest to fly from Denver to Phoenix. We arrive at 8:40AM. We will then fly from Phoenix to Mazatlan on American Airlines leaving at 11:00 am. Will we have to go out to ticketing to get our boarding pass for American airlines flight, not sure it will be available to get on line since it is interenational. Will we have enough time?
Try to check in online, if it can't be issued online you can get it at the departure gate. Thus no need to exit security as long as you don't have checked bags.
I arrive on Southwest in terminal 4 with checked luggage and have 2 hours to board United fight to Europe n terminal 2. Do I have enough time and how do I get to termoinal 4 from terminal 2
United doesn't fly from Phoenix to Europe. Are you stopping somewhere else first? Do you have checked bags?
I DO HAVE CHECKED BAGGAGE .The United flight from Phoenix goes to Chicago. So I will have 2 hours to land in Terminal 4, get my checked bag, and get over to Terminal 2 , and check in at United. Will 2 hours be enough time or will I be cutting it close. Also what is the transportation from Terminal 4 to terminal 2. Thanks for your help. Mike Rue
That should be just enough time if the Southwest flight is on-time. You have to take the SkyTrain from Terminal 4 to Terminal 3 and then a walkway to Terminal 2.
sorry for my poor english skill. i will go from Austin to Lasvegas via PHX. I have only 45minutes. Then, i don't know whether i have to claim my luggage and send it again or the luggage transferring is automatical. where can i check it?
If both flights are on the same reservation then you don't have to claim your bags in Phoenix.
