Getting Around GSO Airport

The terminal at GSO Airport features a straightforward layout, making it easy to navigate. It consists of a single terminal building with two concourses: the north concourse with 14 gates and the south concourse with 12 gates. Each concourse is accessible from the main terminal area, where you'll find ticketing, security, and concessions. The terminal is spread over two levels, with the upper level dedicated to departures including ticketing and boarding, and the lower level designated for arrivals and baggage claim.

Here are some tips for getting around inside the airport:

  • Signage is clear and visible throughout the terminal to guide you to your desired location, whether it's your gate, a restroom, or a place to eat.
  • Both concourses are of equal length, so walking from one end to the other does not take much time. However, if you're short on time or need assistance, look for a customer service desk for help.
  • The security checkpoints are located centrally, making them accessible from any point within the terminal quickly.
