Arriving @ 6:08 pm from Paris on Delta. Connecting flights are either 8:05 or 8:15 pm. I haven't selected a flight yet but am looking at southwest (Term A?) and American Term D?) I am old so walk slowly. With security, passport control, customs, is 2 hours doable? I have no idea how easy it is to navigate PIT. Thank you.
I am disabled. Do I still need to park in "short term" parking ...and have to "walk" to the arrivals outside baggage? Is there any alternative? Can I "loop around" someway so as not to have to park and walk to pick up an arriving passenger?
The Short Term garage is connected to the Landside Terminal via the enclosed moving walkway. Enter terminal on the Transit Level.
I seem to recall being able to go outside of the Airside terminal to smoke not so long ago. In other words, I think I did not have to go all the way to the Landside terminal via the tram. I did redo security, but I think it was in the Airside terminal. Help, please. Thank you.
To find your way around PIT's Level 1 Baggage level, keep in mind that the baggage carousels A-F are on the north side and carousels J-M, P & R, as well as the badging office are to the south. The center of the floor has on the east side an Express shuttle stop outside the door, and inside rental car desks & Travelers Aid station; to the west ist has more rental car desks, a Visitor Center, an ATM and two boarding pass kiosks.
How do you find your way to Level 1 Baggage level?
The passenger terminal at PIT Airport is divided into a 4-level landside building, whose Baggage Level is on level 1, Transit Level on level 2, Ticketing Level on level 3 and Mezzanine Level on level 4. An Arrival curb at the baggage claim level and a Departures curb at the Ticketing level. After security check, passengers board an underground people mover to the airside building, which houses Concourses A to D & their gates (C gates have Immigration, Customs and security checkpoint a level below) surrounding a three-level hexagon that includes the International Arrivals, the Airmall and the Mezzanine.
