I have 1/2 hour between connections on Horizon and United! Will this give me enough time to catch my connecting flight? Thank You
With no checked bags that is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly and the Horizon flight is on-time and you are checked in online for your United flight.
We are flying from Pasco WA to Portland arriving at 8:00 AM with a connecting flight at 8:30 AM to LAX. Can we make the connection in time? Airline changed are original flight and there is nothing I can do. Both are on Alaska.
Yes, that is possible if the flight from Pasco is on-time.
I have a flight from Amsterdam to PDX, and then a flight from PDX to LAX. Is 1 hour and 25 min enough time to make my connecting flight or will I need more time and have to go through customs?
Yes, that should be enough time. Portland is a fairly uncongested airport.
My wife and I are flying from Minneapolis to PDX arriving at 12:49pm, our connecting flight to Seattle departs at 1:14pm. This only gives us 25 minutes before our plane leaves. Will our gate be closed? Will this be enough times to catch our flight or is it too tight and likely to be missed? Thanks!
What airline are you flying? If both flights are Alaska your gates may be far apart. If both flights are on Delta, the gates will be closer together and this connection will be easier.
All flights are on Delta. I've heard they're all on the same terminal.
Yes, all Delta gates are nearby. Portland only has one terminal.
We fly from GEG (Spokane) arriving in PDX (Portland) 9:28 am on a Friday with Alaska airlines. Our connecting flight to Puerto Vallarta is at 10:15 am with Alaska again...so 45 min. in between. Assuming the incoming flight is on time is this connection doable? Ive read that you have to be at the boarding gate 30 min prior with Alaska .
Yes, that is enough time. All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. 30 mins is a recommendation, not a rule, especially if you are a connecting passenger. Connections at PDX are very easy.
The passenger terminal at PDX Airport has on the first level the arrivals & baggage claim area, on the second level the Departure area with ticketing desks, airline lounges, shops & restaurants and a conference center, followed by the Concourse connector leading to the west to Concourses A, B & C, and to the east to Concourses D & D. You can reach the parking garage from the second level.
Airline lounges at Portland Airport's passenger terminal are situated as follows: United Red Carpet Club, and Continental, US Airways & Delta lounges (at baggage claim, right); the Alaska Airlines Board Room (between gates C4 & C6; the Delta Sky Club: near gate D7).
Gate areas at Portland airport have meager food choices and are crowded - you are better off eating before you get to the security checkpoint.
