Prishtina PRN Airport Overview

Prishtina International Airport PRN serves the small Balcan Republic of Kosova (an area of 10,908 sq-km with a population of 2.5 million), which is surrounded by the countries of Serbia, Albania, Montenegro & Macedonia. Distances by air between the Airport  and Thessaloniki, Sofia, Tiarana, Belgrade & Podgorica are almost equal. The Airport is operated by Limak-Aeroport de Lyon on a 20-year contract.

Prishtina Airport is located 3 km from the town of Slatina, and is 18 km southwest of the city of Prishtina (a half hour drive), which is situated at the north-east edge of the Kosova valley, and in the center of the western Balcan peninsula.

With an estimated 1.3 million passengers a year, Prishtina Airport is served by a host of international regular and low-fare airlines offering direct flights to many European cities, as well as by seasonal charter flights.
 
The passenger terminal complex at Prishtina Airport is divided into  Arrivals & Departure terminals. 
The departure terminal has near the entrance and exit doors concessions, and has a check-in area secuurity check, duty-free shop, business lounge and departures hall with access to gates. A separate VIP area is  to right of the entrance.
The arrivals terminal has passport control, baggage area, Customs, Lost & Fuond and a restaurant.
Amenities and services inside the terminal: For food & drink there is a restaurant and 3 coffee & snack bars. A few small shops and a duty-free shop are in the departure area.  The new Business Lounge offers Wi-Fi connection, food & drink, newspapers & TV.  The post office is open daily 8am-3pm (tel. +381 3838 548 442.).
For your banking needs there are Raiffeisen Bank and Kasabank branches inside the terminal, as well as an ATM cash machine (at main entrance).

Parking at Prishtina International is available at 650 parking spaces (including disabled spaces) in the parking lot close to the passenger terminal, which has movable barriers and surveillance cameras for your safety.
 
To get from Prishtina Airport to your destination, you can rent a car (Shkodra or LTG), take a taxi or a bus:  Metered taxis at the Airport are available in front of the passenger terminal, and buses stop in front of both Arrivals & Departure terminals and run between and Kosova's capital city Skopje, Prishtina center (Grand Hotel) and the Airport, daily, 24/7.
