Transportation from Ciampino Airport to your destination:  Taxis (tel. 06 6595 9275) to Rome’s central area Mura Aureliane (Aurelian Wall),  include luggage & up to four passengers. For all other destinations the meter decides the fare. NCC (rent with Driver) cars blue or grey have different fee structures. Rome taxis are white & show the ‘Taxi’ sign.

Buses to the train: Daily direct bus connection to Rome’s railway station (‘Roma Termi’) , as well as to other local train stations, including the Metro, are available from Atral, Cotral, SIT and Terravision. The bus stop is opposite International Departures.
Terravision and BusShuttle
also run a direct route to Rome’s main train station, taking about 40 minutes.

COTRAL/Schiaffini operates buses to the Anagnina Metro station. The Metro to the Rome central train terminal takes about half an hour.   Schiaffini Travel operates:
(a) buses to the Ciampino local train station, from which a train can be taken to Roma Termini. The trip takes at least 45 minutes. 
(b) buses between Ciampino Airport & Fiumicino airport,s a non-stop trip of 45 minutes.

Trains:   The nearest railway station to 'Giovan Battista Pastine' Airport is Ciampino Citta, connected by COTRAL/Schiaffini buses every 30 mins, taking 5 minutes.  Tickets are available on the bus. 
The surface light rail system connects Ciampino railway sation to Termini railway station within 15 mns.
