We are flying Alitalia from Palermo to Rome arriving at 7:30am. We need to connect with an United flight at 9:55am. I have requested a wheelchair when I get off the Alitalia flight as I cannot walk long distances. We have checked baggage. Will we be able to make our UA fight.

That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.

We will be arriving at FCO terminal 3 on EY flight from sydney at 1.10 pm with checked baggage. We need to catch the Alitalia flight to Brindisi in Terminal 1 with checked baggage at 5pm. Will we have enough time and also what signs do we follow from terminal 3? can we walk to terminal 1?

If everything is on the same reservation just follow the signs to your departure gate. You will go through Schengen Passport Control and Security.

I will by flying on one ticket (with Iberia), with the following itinerary: Marrakech-Madrid, Madrid-Rome, Rome-Palermo (operated by vueling). When landing in Rome, will I need to go through customs/immigration and claim/transfer my bag before connecting to my flight to Palermo?

No, all you do in Rome is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate since you will have gone through Schengen Entry in Madrid.

If I arrive to Terminal 1 from Palermo at 7:30, will I have enough time to connect to an 11:15 Departure from Terminal 5. My tickets are not connected but I'll have no checked bags. Thanks

Yes, that should be enough time.

Need to pick up bags and get them to Term2 with us. Don't know exact logistics...not even sure we arrive from US @ #5. There hours enough?

You do not arrive in Terminal 5. You will arrive in Terminal 3 - no flights arrive in Terminal 5. You will go through passport control, claim your bags, take them to the Ryanair check-in desk, re-check your bags, and then go through security.

Hi, we will arrive EWR->FCO on Sunday 10/30/16 at 7:15 am on United 40 and hope to connect to Catania on Alitalia 1731 departing 9:15 am. I cannot tell if both flights will be out of T5 or if we have to change to T1 or T3. If we don't check bags will we have time?

No flights will be in Terminal 5. You will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from Terminal 1. That is a difficult connection if you have checked baggage.

Thanks for the fast reply! We won't be checking bags...think we can make it?

With no checked bags if you check in online for your Alitalia flight, you have a chance.

We'll switch to the 10:30 am flight just to be safe. Thanks again!

I will transit FCO on Jan. 1st next arriving from Cairo with Egypt Air at 16:25 (T3). Will I have time to make an Aer Lingus flight to Dublin at 19:40? I will have checked luggage and I am an EU citizen.

Yes, that should be enough time.

Forgot to mention I am arriving from NAP 4 hours earlier. Not sure which terminal that will be.

You need a Schengen Airport Transit visa issued by the Italian Embassy or Consulate.

I am landing in Fiumicino airport at 12 o'clock noon on British airways. Want to book Ryan airline flight to Palermo leaving at 1:10 PM. Is this enough time? If not, would a Vueling flight at 2:10 pm works?

I don't think the 1:10 flight would be possible, especially if you have checked bags. I would do the 2:10 flight.

Hi. Connecting in Rome with 70 minutes between flights. Alitalia flight from Paris, and then an Alitalia flight to Venice. Different bookings. Is this enough time?

SInce everyhing is within Schengen in Terminal 1, that should be enough time. Check in online for all your flights before leaving Paris.

Flying Boston-Dublin-Rome on AerLingus. Arrive 10:30am. Connect to Catania via Alitalia at 12:30pm. Will we have time to change terminals, collect bags, clear customs and security and get our boarding passes? Should we book a later flight or will Alitalia take care of that if we miss the 12:30 flight?

I think that will be fairly difficult.
