Looking at booking flight from Dubrovnik to Rome arriving FCO 13.25 on Vueling airlines and connecting (seperate ticket) on an Alitalia flight FCO to Pisa at 14.20 (giving 55 minutes to transfer) will this be enough time or should I book later flight?

  • FCO Slow Walkers Checked Bags

US tourists with checked bags, flying DFW-FCO on AA, FCO-TLV on El Al in July, one ticket. Arriving FCO 7:15 am, departing FCO 10 am. Is there enough time to connect us (slow walkers) and our bags? Will we need to collect and recheck our bags? Go thru customs? Go thru passport control? Return trip is similar, but only 2h 30min connect time.

Yes, that should be enough time. Since everything is on the same reservation all you should have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time both ways.

AA236 arriving 735AM FCO from JFK, departing via Alitalia SaiS 582 925AM to Tirana. Same ticket (booked by AA), 1 person, 1 checked bag. Will I have enough time?

That should be enough time if your flight from the US is on-time. You should just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Hi! I am flying into Rome on Easyjet from Nice and then catching a connecting flight to Palermo on Ryanair. I have a two hour window. Is this enough time?

Considering both flights are within Schengen that should be enough time, especially if you don't have checked bags.

  • FCO to Venice Connecting flight

I am arriving Rome airport from JFK on Alitalia. I booked and paid in credit card a first class roundtrip JFK-Rome ticket on Alitalia. Since I had Alitalia frequent flyer miles, I decided to book a one-way flight from Rome to Venice with the miles. Therefore, the roundtrip JFK-Rome leg has a different booking number than the one way Rome to Venice leg. I have 1 hour 40 minutes to make the connection from T3 (arrival in Rome) to get to T1 (to take off from Rome to Venice). Alitalia said that the agent in JFK "should" be able to print my boarding pass for the Rome to Venice flight, at the same time they print my boarding pass for the roundtrip JFK-Rome, Rome-JFK flight. The word "should" makes me worried. If I have all my boarding passes pre-printed, will 1 hour 40 minutes be enough time? I only have carry-on luggage, no checked bags. If they can't print my boarding pass for the Rome-Venice leg in the United States when I show up at JFK, how do I this when I get to Rome airport in order to board the flight from Rome to Venice? And will 1 hour 40 minutes be enough time? Thank you.

If you don't already have your Venice boarding pass you can get it at the Alitalia transfer desk in Rome. You should have enough time.

Thank you. Is the Alitalia transfer desk located after we go through the customs/passport control desk? or before it?

There should be ones located on both sides.

Is 1:50 hours enough to make the connection? The flights are on the same air Canada ticket. The flight to Catania is operated by Alitalia.

Yes, that should be enough time.

Arriving 4/19 at 11am on Delta 64 (Air France) from Atlanta on Terminal 1(?). Need to catch Alitalia 869 to Cairo at noon in Terminal 3(?). How long to get from Delta/Air France to Alitalia ?

You will arrive and depart from Terminal 3. That is still a risky connection.

Hello I land at 8:00 from tel Aviv in FCO and departure to JFK at 10:40: If my luggage continue to JFK and I don't need collect in FCO? If I must undergo a passport check by the Border Police without exit the terminal or to exit fully and pass all the the process including security checking? Thanks

You will not have to collect your bags or go through border control in Rome if both flights are on the same reservation.

Thank you. I land at T3 and departure from T1. They have special inside gate connection between terminals without full exit from T3?

You will not depart from T1. The departure gate should be in T3.

  • Flying Venice to FCO - time needed to transfer?

We fly out of Venice at 10:00 a.m. on Air Italia to FCO. Our flight from FCO to Canada leaves at 1:35 p.m. on Air Canada. I believe we will have to pick up luggage and go through security again??? Pending we arrive in Rome as scheduled, 11:05, will we have enough time to make the transfer?

That is barely enough time if everything goes perfectly.

Hi, my daughter will fly from US to Rome terminal 3 and then Fly to London. WHat does she have to do when she gets to Rome. No checked luggage, 2 different tickets, 2 1/2 hrs between flights

What airlines is she flying? If she is able to check in online for her flight to London she should just be able to go through Passport Control and to her departure gate.

Hello, I will be flying from Montreal to Rome arriving in Rome at 8:55 a.m. There is a flight from Rome to Bari at 9:55 but I purchased separately with Alitalia for the 2:30 flight. If by chance I would be able to make the 9:55 flight, what should I do? go straight to the Alitalia gate, which is in a different terminal or do I have to go out of airside and go to an Alitalia counter to pay for the flight change and then go through security again? I am not checking any bags so that I can have a better chance to make it but if I have to leave airside I will never make it....so my question is, will Alitalia let me make the change at the gate and pay the 50 euro charge there if I get there at least 15 minutes before boarding? Thank you.

Yes, if you can make it you could make the change at the Alitalia gate or Transfer Desk.
