Delta DTW-FCO, arriving at 09:15 at T3 connecting to Vueling FCO-JMK at 10:40 at T5. Carry-on baggage only, separate itineraries. Is 1hr and 25mins enough time? I know that's rush hour!
I don't think you'll make that flight. You will have to go through customs and immigration, then walk to Terminal 5, check your bags in with Vueling, and go through security. You will not make this flight.
Vueling does not use Terminal 5. They use Terminal 3. However, I still think that's not reasonably enough time.
i just booked my cousins ticket from India to aboo dabby to Rome to JFK ( final destination). She has a green card ( US ) and Indian passport. There's far too less time now ( leaving tomorrow ) to get a schenzen visa. She'd be arriving I think in terminal 1 and leaving of terminal 5. With a green card and a onward ticket to JFK , does she still need a Schenzen visa ? is she going to have difficulties . For those 4 hrs , she'll be @ the airport but she has to change terminals ( T1 or T3 to T 5 ) . Abs no interest in leaving outside.
Since she holds a valid US Visa she doesn't need a Schengen Transit Visa.
Hello, My mom is flying to Naples from Moscow via Rome, with arrival to Rome in Terminal 3 and departure to Naples in terminal 1, both flights with Alitalia. She is concerned about transit and immigration procedures, she's got 1.5 hours in between the flights. The flights are booked on one ticket. Can you please advise what she has to do in terms of immigration and passport control and transit procedure in this case. Can she go directly from one terminal to another, she has the appropriate valid visa to travel already.
She will go through passport control and then through security and to her departure gate in Terminal 1. She has just enough time if the flight from Moscow is on-tine.
Hello, I'm flying Dubai- Rome on Emirates with US passport. Then taking alitalia/darwin flight to Pisa. Will 2.5 hours be sufficient to clear passport control, collect luggage, and get to domestic terminal gate (I assume is 1-hour check in required for domestic)? Thank you.
That should be just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
I'm arriving in Rome via Delta 444 from JFK, at 10:45 a.m. I have a connection on Alitalia 896 to Cairo that leaves at 11:45 a.m. Is this enough time to make the connection? Will I need to go through immigration in FCO?
You will not go through immigration since you are not entering the Schengen Area, you just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.
Is an hour enough time?
It should be enough time if the flight is on-time.
Hi, I am coming from Abu DHabi. I am landing in Rome at 7 AM and I have my connect flight to Atlanta at 12 noon. I have a US visa and Indian passport. Do I need any additional Visa in Rome. My flight is landing on Terminal 5 and next flight from terminal 3. Please suggest
No, you do not need a transit visa since you hold a valid US Visa. Both flights will be in Terminal 3 - no flights arrive in Terminal 5.
I have the same iterniery as mentioned here Abudhabi-Rome-Atlanta. But the e-ticket shows the arrival terminal is 3 and departure terminal is 5.
You don't have to go to Terminal 5, you can go directly to your departure gate in Terminal 3.
I'm arriving at Fumicino At 9.05 a.m from Chicago. Than I want to book separate ticket Rome Fumicino to Barcelona El Prat. How much time should I allow between the flights because I would first need to pick up my baggage and check in for the new flight? I would probably use Vueling or Raynair for the BCN flight. Thank you in advance.
I wouldn't book anything before 12:00 at the absolute earliest.
