Hello, aid please :) According plan flight we will arrive from Malta to FCO 14:10hod Alitalia airlines to terminal 1 and we have only 50minutes to transfer the 2nd flight with Alitalia on the same Terminal 1 to Budapest- 15:00 departures. Is enough time to transit?

Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.

  • Time between flight Rome-Beijing

Arrival at FCO at 18:45 from Lisbon in Terminal 3 and departure to Beijing at 20:55 in Terminal 3. Could you confirm if 2 hours gap is enough for all procedures to take Beijing flight? Luggage is expected to be checked in Lisbon to final destination.

You don't have to ask the same question twice.

  • Do we manually transfer luggage?
    Feb 9, 2016
Traveling from London heathrow to rome and then again British airways connecting flight (vueling)to Catania. Do we have to transfer own luggage at Rome? How do I find out?

If both tickets are on the same reservation you won't have to do anything with your bags in Rome. Just go through Schengen passport control and to your departure gate.

I have a ticket from cairo to FCO and from FCO to Paris airport CDG i only have 1H 5M transit at FCO, my flights are all Alitalia, i arrive at Terminal 1 and the flight to paris is at terminal 3, will i make it?

You have your terminals backwards - you will arrive in 3 and depart from 1. That is barely enough time if everything goes smoothly.

How much percentage does everything usually goes smootly like 90% of the times? and do i have to worry about my luggage not making it with me?

I can't predict that. Alitalia is not known for their punctuality.

  • Connection time

Hello everybody I have a question. I arrive to Roma Fiumicino at 20:15 from Pisa airport at TERMINAL 1 and than i have the connection at the same TERMINAL 1 to Amsterdam at 21:00. Its one ticket, and companies are Alitalia and KLM. Do i have enough time to catch the plane to amsterdam. Note i have only a backpack no lougage. Thank you

That should be enough time if the flight from Pisa is on-time. You just have to go from your arrival gate to your departure gate.

Thank a lot, this reasures me. Let's hope the flight from Pisa its on time, which i fear nowing the tendency of delay of italian affairs. Ciao

One more question please, so does that mean that there is no airport control once i arrive in Roma Fumicino TERMINAL 1 from Pisa?

Correct, there will be no border controls on your trip since Italy and the Netherlands are both in the Schengen area

Thank you a lot for the info my man or woman. You have a good day!

reaching on AZ825 Terminal 3 at 19:20 , have to collect Luggage and recheck in through Terminal 2 for Wizz Air departing at 20:40 Is this enough time to change terminal , and then in and out through passport control and customs . would appreciate your remarks and suggestions Thanks

    No, I don't think that's enough time.

How much time is needed as minimum ? Which is the Walking minutes from T3 to T2 ? Thanks

The terminals are very close together. The issue is clearing passport control, claiming your bags, re-checking your bags with Wizz, and then going through schengen exit passport control and security. I'd want at least 3 hours to do all that.

My Return Flight on APRIL 29th, reaching FCO Terminal 2 at 19:10 to take same day flight AZ826 departure 21:45 out of Terminal 3 . Please inform if this is enough !

    Feb 8, 2016
I planned to fly from Geneva to NYC through Roma, all Alitalia. I got proposed a flight with only 1hr between the landing at terminal 1 FCO, and the take off at terminal 3 FCO. Would I have enough time to make the connection ?

It's possible but doesn't leave much time to spare.

    I won't ! Thanks a lot. There's a shuttle between the terminals right ?

i will be arriving at FCO from Genoa and then boarding an immediate flight to Naples, all Alitalia. What is the procedure and how long will it take. I have around 1 hour from scheduled arrival to take-off.

All you have to do is walk from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have plenty of time.

We are flying from Toronto to Catania in May 2016 on Alitalia Business Class and connecting in FCO. We have all flights on 1 ticket and luggage is forward to Catania all we have is carryon. We fly into Terminal 3 and connecting flight is in Terminal 1 with 1.45 Hrs. between flights. Is this enough time to pass through Passport Control and make our connecting flight. Any input or feed back would be appreciated.

Yes, that should be enough time.

  • Connection between terminal 1 and 2
    Feb 3, 2016
I am flying in from Belgrade to Barcelona using Alitalia and I need to change from Terminal 1 to Terminal 2. Is 1 hour and 20 minutes between the flight enough for passport check? My bag will be checked to go directly to Barcelona.

Alitalia doesn't use Terminal 2. You will arrive in Terminal 3 and depart from Terminal 1. You should have enough time.

  • Shuttle for old folks between Terminal 3 and terminal 1?
    Feb 3, 2016
Older couple can't walk fast. Is 2.5 hrs enought time to clear passport control and walk between the terminals?

We will arrive from TLV to Rome with Alitalia at 8.40 A.M and continue with Alitalia to Venice at 10.10 A.M will the luggage be transferred directly to Veice?

Yes, your bags will go straight to Venice. You will just go through Schengen Passport Control and possibly security in Rome.

    Feb 2, 2016
Hi, I will be flying into FCO terminal 3 with BA from LHR then catching a Vueling flight out to catania 4hrs later obviously plenty of time but assuming i can get bags sent straight through do we have to change terminals or go back through security given the vueling flight departs from terminal 3. Also are there any places to eat in terminal 3 post the fire.

If your bags are sent straight through to CTA you just have to go through Schengen passport control in Rome.

  • FCO - transfer from Delta to Ryanair...
    Jan 30, 2016
We are arriving at FCO on Delta 444 from JFK at 10:25am on March 30. Want to book a connecting flight to Palermo on Ryanair at 1:10PM. Do we have to get our luggage and clear customs at FCO and check in at FCO or can we just get to Ryanair and clear customs in Palermo? Is 2 ½ hours between flights enough time?

Yes, in Rome you will have to go through Schengen Passport control and claim your luggage, then re-check it with Ryanair. Ryanair does not transfer bags to or from any other airlines. You would have enough time for that connection if your flight from JFK is on-time.
