I will be flying into T3 on AZ 651 and my friend will be flying into T1 on AZ 2037. We both will have checked bags to claim but we both need to meet up together at the airport somehow to catch the Leonardo Express train to the city. Are the arrivals area of the two terminals connected or what is the recommend option on where we could both meet without getting lost and with having to do our baggage claims and customs etc.
I would meet in the Leonardo Express train station.
Hi, I am ariving on United into Rome and looking to book my flight to Catania from Rome. What amount of time I should allow to clear customs and get my bags and check in for my flight to Catania? Also, any airline suggestions for the Rome to Catania leg?
I would want at least 3 hours.
2 separate reservations
Sorry this was meant as a response to the below query...
We are flying into FCO from Mykonos, Greece on Vueling, and have 2 hours to connect to a Qatar Airways flight to Doha. Both flights are in T3. We'll have check-in luggage. Will we need to collect our luggage and re-check it at the transfer desk? Will we need to go through security / passport control? Any advice is much appreciated.
Are your tickets on one reservation or two separate reservations?
They are on separate reservations
Yes, you will have to claim your bags, re-check your bags with Qatar, go through security and schengen exit passport control. That will be very difficult to do in 2 hours.
We will be arriving from Turin on Alitalia with an Emirates connection 2 hours later to Australia. We are travelling on Australian passports. Not one ticket. Is this enough time?
I think that will be very difficult, if not impossible if you have checked baggage.
Flying UA into FCO arriving at 8 am. Connecting to Lufthansa to FRA at 10 am. Flying Business. Will I have enough time to make connection?
Yes, that should be enough time if the first flight is on-time.
I have a flight to Athens booked on separate tickets. Is 3 hours enough time to make the connecting flight at FCO? The airlines are Alitalia (terminal 1) and Aegean (terminal 3)
Yes, that should be enough time.
Thank you!
Hello, I have flight on August 23rd from Rome to Minneapolis but I will come from Belgrade on Terminal 1 and I have 3:25h to wait for next connection from Terminal 5, so what you suggest how to get from 1 to 5 and it 3:25h enough time for me? Thanks a lot!!!
Yes, that should be enough time.
I am travelling from Athens (Aegean Air) to Olbia (Meridiana) with one checked bag and have a 90 minute window. They are both in Terminal 3. Is this too tight?
The checked bag makes this a little difficult if it's two separate reservations.
Thank you Maybe I should ditch the bag in Rome (I assume there are lockers) and then do carryon and pick it up on my return. That might be faster.
That wouldn't save you much time as you would still have to leave security to claim your bag and store it.
Hello, I'm flying to Catania via Rome from Heathrow , I purchased my ticket from Alitalia directly - the stopover is 1.5 hrs. Do I have to collect my bags and is this enough time?
You do not have to collect your bags. You should have enough time.
New to this. Thanks for any help in advance. Will be arriving at FCO from London via Norwegian. Will need to catch a RyanAir flight to CTA. I have one ticket and one checked bag. There's about 60 minutes between flights. Will my luggage be transferred? Will I need to pick up my bag and bring it to the new carrier? Do I have enough time? Thanks again!
Ryanair and Norwegian both don't interline bags, so you will have to transfer them yourself. I think this connection is pretty much impossible.
Thank you, appreciate the information.
