Hi everyone. We will be 7 people on 1200pm flight Alitalia out of Catania on a Sunday. Arrives FCO with 1 hr to make connecting flight, also Alitalia (though operated by DELTA), to New York. Possibly checked bags for two of us. Any advice. Otherwise might need to take the 710 am out of Catania which gives us 2.0 hrs to make a connection. But that makes us leaving way too early from Taormina to catch 710am to FCO. Anyone with me still? :) Would love advice Thank you!
For the above post--we are US citizens would we clear immigration in Catania (though domestic flight) or only in Rome (for our connection to NYC). or need to do again in Rome even if we did in Catania? Same ticket all flights Thanks!
I arrive in Rome on20/6 from Amman with Alitalia at13:40 in main terminal and the connect to Barcelona leaving at 15:00 from terminal one with Alitalia. Is 1 hour 20 minutes enough time to go through immigration and to terminal one from main terminal. Kindly please advise? thank you
We fly Houston to Paris then Paris to Rome on one reservation, Arrive Rome at 1:05pm. We have another flight reservation from Rome to Athens that leaves at 2:50pm. Will we clear passport control in Paris or Rome? Will we have enough time to make the connection in Rome to Athens? Flight times have changed since we originally booked so looking at time before I change anything. Thanks!
More info : We will have checked bags and I now know we will clear passport control in Paris. Question is will we have enough time from 1:05 pm to 2:50 pm to make the connections on different reservations with checked bags?
We are returning from Dubrovnik to the US. Our flight is on Croatia Air and we have 45 minutes to connect to a Delta flight. This was all booked on one ticket with expedia and the Croatia flight shows up on our Delta confirmation. We might have checked baggage as we will have 2 small bags each. Will we need to go through security or customs? Will 45 minutes be enough time?
All you should have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. That is just enough time if everything goes smoothly.
We have booked a flight from Lisbon to Rome and arrive at terminal 3 at 16:20. We want to buy tickets to Bari and aren't sure if the 17:15 flight will give us enough connection time. We will be checking in our bags
With checked bags I don't think that's enough time if it's two separate reservations.
Looking at booking flight from Dubrovnik to Rome arriving FCO 13.25 on Vueling airlines and connecting (seperate ticket) on an Alitalia flight FCO to Pisa at 14.20 (giving 55 minutes to transfer) will this be enough time or should I book later flight?
Considering you will have to go through Schengen Entry passport control then check in and go through security for the Alitalia flight, I don't think that's enough time.
My son arrives at Terminal 3 on American Airlines at 7;35 am and has to catch an Alitalia flight at 9:20 am in Terminal 1. Does he have time???
US tourists with checked bags, flying DFW-FCO on AA, FCO-TLV on El Al in July, one ticket. Arriving FCO 7:15 am, departing FCO 10 am. Is there enough time to connect us (slow walkers) and our bags? Will we need to collect and recheck our bags? Go thru customs? Go thru passport control? Return trip is similar, but only 2h 30min connect time.
Yes, that should be enough time. Since everything is on the same reservation all you should have to do is go from your arrival gate to your departure gate. You should have enough time both ways.
